  1. Looking forward to more info on your truck.

Love the 94 too. We've got several Chevy/GM toys and we're looking to add to our collection. :) We're also looking for a 96-99 Suburban with low miles...the mid to late 90's 5.7 trucks are our favorites.

Here's our 89 GM with a motor we built with our twin turbo kit....(we specialize in performance automotive) She runs 11's in the 1/4....not bad for the truck we use to tow our race cars. ;)

some details here: 11 sec "tow" truck

    A video here: horsepower

Now thats a hell of a truck!!!! I want to turbo my 94', the bottom end is built VERY stout and can handle up to about 800 horse.... @10.5:1 ill probly have to change pistons but I might have to talk to you about setting something up for me.. is that possible?

  2. Is this truck still for sale? please email me at [email protected]. Can you email a few other pics of the underside of the hood, bottom of the doors, any pics of the underside of the truck? Have cash and ready to buy asap.

Ps - what is your other truck???

Yes it is for sale, my other truck is a 2wd 94' Silverado with a built 357. Thats my baby! Ill send you an email... Thanks!

  3. Ok guys and gals thinking of going a different route and looking to sell my SS. It has 92,000 miles on it (still driving) and has had mobil 1 5W-30 since brand new. ALL fluids changed out about 5000 miles ago at the dealer. Catch-all mats take the abuse, factory carpet is mint. Leather is mint. All seat controls and electronics work flawless. The underside was professionally undercoated when brand new, NO RUST!!!! Has been driven in only two winters throughout its life. The stock 20's have been PC'ed black and come with Toyo proxes and chrome center caps. Stock Denali rims painted black with all-terrains for winter. Fiberglass tonnaue cover and bed mat. Trailer brakes controller installed. Couple paint defects but nothing serious, what youd expect from a daily driven truck that is 7 years old. I baby this thing, and wash it at least 3 times a week and wax 2 times a year.

My bottom dollar at this time is $15,000.... Also considering trades. I really want a white Z71 that has a slght lift with 35's. if you are interested let me know and I can get you more details.

  4. At one point in the full steering rotation there is a "rubber on rubber" squeek. its on the inside and its the loudest when very cold. it drives me nuts, I had the dealership fix it once but its back to haunt me. I dont want to take it there for a minor thing like this so Im looking for input. Thanks!

  5. Looks good, good pics, I use mine as my daily driver as well and they definitely work good in the snow and ice! But I wash it every week it seems like...

Awesome, yea you really have to keep up on them if you want to keep it nice.... Man there is a lot of door jam to clean on these bastards lol!!

Nice rides mang. clean truck. the shee's are sick also. my buddys run the sand drags and there bikes all done up to.

Thanks! Yea, I have been building and obsessed with banshees for about 10 years now. They are my passion for sure, and 300' sand drags is definitely an addicting sport. Im in the process of re-doing my drag bike right now, should be pretty nasty. It's what started my custom metal business so the banshee will always have a special place in my heart hahaha driving.gif

  6. Looks like fun. Although I like to keep my SS as clean as possible, the awd trucks would make badass winter trucks for areas up north that see a lot of snow.

Yea, it has been fully undercoated when purchased in 03 and the frame etc has zero rust... it kills me to get it all dirty but I clean it about 4 times per week lol... yes it is amazing in the snow, insane traction thumbsup.gif

  7. Good pics - good to see somebody else using it as a truck. like the SS in the lower grill vents.

Thanks bud, I actually make those vents. $75 a pair and I have 2 sets in stock, PM me if interested! They are laser cut and formed from mirror stainless steel and install with the factory push pinsdriving.gif

  8. Well guys, I bought this truck in the spring of 2010 with the intentions of it being my year-round daily driver. From hauling my toys to hauling the mail, this was going to be my truck for everything. It has done everything I wanted and more. It's definitely the BEST winter vehicle I have ever owned, and with the A/T's on there it just crawls anywhere. Thought I would share some pics from over the months from clean, trashed out dirty (I live on a dirt road), to hauling snowmobiles lol.... Anyways for those of you who use your SS as a truck, I thought yud appreciate it. pepsicheer.gif
