Just checking to see if anybody would be interested, i have two brand new in the box Sss wheels from keystone manufactureing and i dont need them i would be willing to sell them or trade for 2 inch spindles or whatever (pm if any takers)

I need a hand with a problem i know i got the Sss front end growl got about 45,000 miles on it 2003 i pulled out of work today and heard a sort of noise like a bell twice right in a roll and i have been hearing a noise that sounds like a rock in my caliper comming from the front end kinda high pitched chirp is this the beggining of the end for my front diff??????

In Illinois you have to have a front plate, ther is rumors of going to only a rear like other states do but only a rumor, i didnt have to pay a fine but got a warning ticket out of the deal from the nice state trooper????? I had the truck for a year, the day i drill the bumper the day after it will become a law that only one is required thats my luck!!!!!!

I need a flip up front license plate bracket for my truck i am not gonna drill in the bumper i seen them on here and i cant find the site back to purchase one. Its is a SS Silverado .please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys i need help i have a 2003 Sss and i am going to get a wheatley tune should i go ahead and get a shift kit and vette servo before the tune i need to change the fluid anyways and thought a kit would just be money ahead in the long run. I use it as a daily driver it only has 44,000 miles on it and i want to replace trans fluid anyway, i do very little towing with it (a small 17' lowe bass boat on the weekends) is the extent of my towing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The other # you should look for is wa8555 if they spray ppg paint the ppg # is 9835 black

I got the same thing and was waiting to see if it goes away after the cold weather is over with but it does suck , a quick cheap how to fix would be nice!!!!!

I would personally recomend PPG paint go with the dbc line one gallon of paint and one gallon of reducer will get you 2 gallons of rts(ready to spray) paint i would also go with dcu 2021 clear. Any other questions hit me up??

How does everybody feel about lucas 75w90 synthetic in front diff. Tryin to get rid of that evil front end howl in my 2003 Sss ???????

Hey i am going to change all my fluids in my front diff. rear end and transmission going with royal purple tranny fluid, auto trac 2 in transfer purple in everything else. My question is i am going to flush out old tranny fluid and replace with purple, how many quarts will i need to buy to fill tranny back up???? I think 2 quarts of auto trac will do the transfer. Not sure about how much i will need for front diff and rear end???? Anybody got any advice?????

Hey dude your oem paint code should be wa9260, I sell ppg paint and the ppg number is 4154 that is also the same color of my victory red 2003 ss.

If it is a carrier bearing will it need rebuilt?It only has 39,000 miles on it i would'nt think i would need a rebuild quite yet would i just need to replace the carrier bearing?? I am saving for a wheatley tune and if this is minor i am going to replace it change fluid and then get tune, if i needa rebuild on my trans that will throw a wrench in my wheatley tune for sure and that will make me all kinds of pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody got an idea what i need to do please tell me??

The noise is only when i turn between 10 and 20 mph right now it is the only time i notice it?? It seems to be more noticeable when i turn right than when i turn left but still have the sound both directions???

Nothing seems to be dripping undercarige looks clean and dry??

Kinda like growl but not as harsh as a wheel bearing, more like low power steering noise?? Kinda a hard noise to describe???

Has anybody came across a noise in the front end at low speed turns, kinda sounds like maybe a power steering issue or something. Should'nt be to much wrong with the truck has low miles, it is a 2003 Sss awd just turned 38,000 so its pretty cherry ride, but i cant come up with an answer. It is still there after i did the the old jack shaft trick on the steering shaft. Any answer would help greatly????

Does anybody know the part number of the ac delco z06 corvette servo that will fit in a 2003 Sss awd transmission????

Other than greater oil capacity what do i gain by a taller oil filter i crossed the mobil 1 filter into a delco part # and the taller delco is cheeper?????
