Yeah i got luck Napa had an OEM GM pulley!!! It felt so awesome not to here that dam sound! I think brakes are next then FINALLY A DROP!

So I had a loud as noise coming from my belt or tensioner, I took the truck to my friends shop last night and we ended up replacing the idler pulley and getting a new belt. While there I also cleaned out my air filter.. The photos are at my best friends shop. Bobbys a diesel mechanic.

I guess im not cool enough.. it just seems like all the other guys get together in the part of the country, but we never do anything here. : (

Yeah ill try the belt first.. because when I threw the water on it it stops. Is it hard to do by yourself?

Yeah I ll try that because when we sprayed that WD-40 it got worse and when I threw water on it it stopped a bit.

my truck would squek everyone once in awhile more when it was cold, so the other day someone tells me to throw wd-40 and boy did that noise get worse.. it gets louder when I accelerate, I threw water on it and it stops for a bit.. is this a belt issue or maybe I need a new belt tensioner???? Are those expensive?

Im going to remove the VHT on my front head lights.. Do you guys think if I sand them down and then throw some compund the .clear coat the head lights will look ok?
