OK, Im in the market for a brake set up. Im close to pulling the trigger on DentGuy's brake kit he has for sale. But I stopped by a buddys shop today to ask some brake questions and he has a brembo 8 piston caliper/rotar front kit for a Thousand Dollars. He said it came off a 01 Cadillac Escalade. They are red, and he had the hub area I guess you would call it or the center of the rotar powder coated red also. Do you guys knows if this is a deal or even worth the money? I tried googling 8 piston caliper and came up empty handed. He said they would fit my truck. Any input guys?????? How much would you guys think a rear brembo kit would cost so I would be all matching?

Well that stupid tire shop called me this morning. They said "hey Cruz, im at our distributor and they dont have your tire and size here. They dont carry nitto anymore. They have one here but its a 295/30 I can get that one for you or a michellen in the same size you have now." I was like no dude, Im not mismatching tires or sizes. He text me and said we are stopping by a few shops to see if we can find it. So I went ahead and called a couple of shops and found a place that can get it today so i send these idiots the info and said you can go there and get my tire oh and by the way there is another wheel scratched to hell we didnt see yesterday, and sent a pic of it. This is a nighmare! Another day off to a bad start. I should have just stayed withe the chromes.

Tire shop ****ed me good guys! They ruined one of my brand new tires, I have to go back tomorrow and he is getting me another brand new one, and he scratched the lip of two of my wheels to hell. He tried to touch it up and tried to pull a fast one on me. Said he was going to send it off to have it fixed. I said oh hell what if and most likely it won't match than what. He said ill buy you a new wheel than. I've had the worst day ever. That's cause it was just one wheel we were talking about, I got home and seen another one that was scratched even more but I guess it was on the bottom and I didn't see it.

I got my new replicas today! Ill let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!

Installation is up in the air as of now. Hopefully I can get a few buddies together and knock it out in a weekend. If not i feel ill be able to knock it out with my old man, just would take us a lil longer than the pros. A set up like mentioned ^^^^^ sound good. I just need to know what specs to go with. Servos, shift kit, tune, ect.... are all self explanatory, its the cam, heads, and stall im stuck on.

I want to spend about $4k, I have plenty more than that but would like to keep it around that price range.

Well I sold my crotch rocket on Friday (tear ) I have a pocket full of cash and im ready to unload on the truck and make it a BEAST! Ive been literally been researching all weekend, bottom line is im no guru and lost in the sauce. Ill be the puppet and you guys just pull the strings. Do you guys want to help me come up with plans for the truck??? It is a 03 AWD with about 140,xxx miles. All that is done to her is a flomaster exhaust and air intake. I have long tube headers already and just need to install. It is not my DD but I still want to be able to drive it more than around town if needed and mos def still use it as a truck and tow if need be. ITS A TRUCK! If i have a chance to go to the track i want to be able to, or if i get into a street race while cruisin, i want to be able to get on it and turn heads! Im not worried about the tranny at the moment, that will come down the line cause i understand i will need a full tranny build for a beast motor. Im not trying to do pistons or crankshaft or anything too technical, just to be clear. I want a cam and everything that goes along with it. I really want to run a texas speed cam if possible. Not for sure but possibly down the line a pro charger. Something that would be compatible with or without it incase i never get to a procharger. what do you guys think cam wise and additional bolt ons for the truck???
