haha i felt kinda bad for him he spent like 500 bucks and we had just put it on like a hour earlier and test drove it. Then it went down lol. He looked so disheartend. Cant wait to get my long tubes on and my tune

I am getting a tune from wheatley and need to know the factory gear ratio for it. Is is a 4.10?

Helped a guy at work install his dp chip on his 99 7.3 extended cab powerstroke. We take it down the road test it on the 80hp setting it does ok change to 120hp setting i cant tell much diff riding. Change to 140hp and it dumps to much fuel and flutters it. So he gets cocky cause its the first day i have rode my SS in like 6 months so i tell him ill give him a run jus to see. We go from a dig and i hear him spin some and that was it i pulled bout 3 to 4 trucks on him. I stop and talk to him and tell him we will go from a 20mph roll thinking it will be a bit closer but the ol blue demon ripped out of the hole like a monster lol and i got bout 4 to 5 trucks on him. I was pretty proud. I told him my headers was in the back seat and i was saving for a tune. He was glad he raced me before hand. Just thought i would share

I just got pacesetter headers, 2 round magnaflow 4 x 14 mufflers and a x pipe. I ordered 2.5in stuff. Will it have a big power loss compared to a 3in exhaust? Also kinda debating on the cats im just doin bolt on stuff. This will prob be it other than a tune. Thanks for the info

I am about to purchase a set of headers and redo my exhaust system. I was thinking of maybe deleting the cats. Will this throw my check engine light? if so when i get a tune can this be fixed? or just leave the cats on Thanks for the info

i have a 03 ss and was wondering what trans mine came with. I hear that the later ones (05 and up) came with a 4l80. Does mine have a 4l60 or 65 i have heard both. I figured i was just ask the experts lol
