I never did 1/4 mile runs but have done 1/8. What was your 1/8? Mine was 9.35 if that gives you a reference.

You can probably get a custom tune or mail order tune cheaper and get twice the results i dint think anyone on here has a handheld tune in there truck. No joke there not impressive at all.

I used m1 5-30 for 2 years then switched to amsoil 5-30 far better than mobil 1. Gm says 5-30 so I'll stay with that.

Even tho the fuel pump is making a noise it might still be acting up. That might be the issue.

[Basics Of The Truck]

Go online and look up thee ss u can learn alot right there. Engine wise stock it's pretty strong. A good tune, cai, and exhaust can make it run alot better. Well the front diff is a little weak and the tranny is a little weak when you start adding power.

[Brakemotive Pads/Rotors]

If you get those I would deff get better pads. I got some like those but got hawk pads. The pads that I got with the package was way to soft feeling for me.
