Sounds like a wheel hub to me or flat spotted tires. Check the hubs 1st. Jack up the front and put your hands at 3 and 9 or 12 and 6 and push pull. If it has any slop that's not good.

There are some trucks on YouTube beating hell turds already. No doubt in my mind your SS will be about a second faster when done. Zippy will have it running right. Hell cats don't impress me at all. Yeah dodge had the balls to put big power in it but that's about it for me. Too bad you didn't get it on vid. Maybe next time

When you get the heads on and all your goodies set up right you wil be high 10's id bet with a good set of wheels and tires. Depends on what you want to use it for? What do you want it to sound like. I've had a stall n cam now for 3 years. Love my setup. I haven't done the 1/4 but 1/8 many times. I should be 13.2 to 13.5 area. A good 2800 stall and a mp112 will put you where you wanna be. Trans in these trucks are weak links. Will have to do some up grades. Stay NA with a cam stall n a few other goodies would be my choice.
