Hey i have a question for everyone, is there a way to tell them apart without tearing them apart?

What size drop and how did you get that lower valance?

Yeah I had a tundra too. That thing was a monster. Compared to the SSS it's pretty sweet.

Well black bear is coming to ft worth in December thought about doing that. Idk guess I'll see in a few days

So what gives out the most power of the two???

What mount drop do you have? Was it a kit that you bought? Also how did you do that lower valance on ur truck??

Black bear tuning or Wheatley? And why is it better? Anybody ever experienced the two?

the rear of my truck sits at 36 even and the front sits at 35 1/2 and that's still riding bump stop pretty hard as you can see...

HUH i guess I might need to turn mine up a bit and try that out. ODD here are some pics.. Just makes me wonder why it rides so rough and dirty.. I never recalled my dad's 02 Z71 ever running on the bump stops....

What kind of shocks are you ordering for your truck?

Yeah i'm going to drill them out this weeekend like Mr. P said to do. Just looks funny that the truck sits almost 100% level front to rear and it rides kind of crappy... I'm going to move to some edelbrock shocks later down the road, hoping it helps the ride comfort of the truck a bit. I was also thinking of raising the keys a bit to get the truck from running on the bumps so much and having it aligned. Any more insight. Mr. P can you help out.. i need to swing by and see your truck someday, it interest me that you live so close and have so much done to your truck. :-)

Ok have a quick question about torsion keys. First I remember reading that the front bump stops are not suppose to be touching the stops too much, but mine seem to be touching a pretty good amount. I have put new bump stops on and they still touch. I also recently installed new shocks, not the best, but soon to change. So my question is how do you know if you have stock keys or aftermarket, are those marked too? Also, How much are your keys turned on your stock height keys? Buying aftermarket drop keys will make the truck ride on the bump stops more correct? since it will be lowering the truck down in that way correct? well help me out.. please

Oh also if you get one, look at the 2009.5 model and above, they have the bluetooth capabilites from factory..

I had one already, they have a few problems on the bushing of the suspensions and the front control arms. other then that put some long tubes an intake and a good tune and these things are monsters. stock mine dyno'ed at 286 on the wheels and after those mods i dyno'ed at 368RWHP. not bad.. LOL Here is a picture of my old car.. I miss her....

Hey what does everyone think about running Gabrial Max shocks on their trucks? i looked around and it looks like no one has done it yet. I can get all 4 for around 150 bucks or less because of some friends that work at Autozone.

So for a 03 SS all I need is the OEM fans from a 05+ tahoe or silverado and the two pin wireharness and a PCM tuned on for the fans and i'm done?? COOL if so..
