  1. Look's great with the SS wheel's, i know these are on my want list for next summer if i can find a nice set.
  2. Hey guy's i have been having trouble with the amp in my stock deck in my Silverado,, have a chance to get another stock replacement in excellent working condition. I know i need a number or code off the radio so it can be mated to my system. Where would i look on the new deck to see or get that number??? And yes it's GM. Thanks.
  3. Haven't been a member on here for long so reading alot of threads and man when i got to this one i have to agree with everyone else, that is shit work. So it's been a while - did you get this resolved???? personally i would have wanted a full refund. You could have done that yourself wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper. When you mention 500 and i saw your pic's i thought wow 499 profit what a scam, sry man but what looks good on a web or in some picture is sometime's a huge awakening in reality. Honestly i hope it worked out for you, my biggest pet peeve getting smoked for cash.
  4. WOW totally impressive work and craftsmanship. When you have everything welded will the header's and the rest of the pipes be ceramic coated? Or do you have other plans for a finished look. Anyway, awesome job look forward to more updates.
  5. Hey man just read your post and like yourself i alway's try and park as far away from other's just for reason's you mentioned. But back to your rust bubble. Well it's unfortunate but it's something you should try and take care of as soon as you can. With winter coming you don't want to let that spot grow into a bigger problem. Like mention a good body shop can take care of that pretty easy. Let me stress that i said a GOOD BODY SHOP. They can do a spot repair and blow in and polish without painting the whole panel. As far as painting your whole truck i can't stress it enough to do your homework when it comes to giving some shop your hard earned money for a complete job. I'm sure you know there are lot's of wanna be's body shops out there. If your wondering why i'm stressing this it's simple i spent 25 year's of my working career in that trade, before i got into the aircraft industry. i've see it all, the awesome paint job's with the butchered body work, Just do your research if you don't have a shop in mind already. Good luck with the bubble.
  6. Hey guy's thank's for the great welcome to the club, I am reading alot of cool stuff on here.
  7. Hey man another canadian welcome, Deadmonton LOL, i lived there for 20 year's before i moved to On. a couple year's ago, nice truck and ya 160 klm's that's just breakin in material.
  8. Hey man, your from Van. cool. haven't been here in On. that long, only a couple year's, i call Edmonton home. Nice truck BTW.
  9. Hey welcome to the site, just getting started around here myself, nice truck, my crew is also an 06 look's almost identical to your's just the Z71 version.
  10. Hello everyone, was reading an article today on another site and silveradoss.com was mentioned. So i came over read a few threads and thought what a cool site this place is. I don't have an ss Silverado, what i have is an 06 crew Z71 4by sb, with a 5.3 in it. I just bought it this past summer, it's completely stock for now but i do have plan's for it, such as brake upgrade, new wheels, tires and a supercharger. But all in good time. Anyway gotta get back to reading some more thread's around here.
