  1. Hey everyone, Just finished putting the diesel engine in my 06 rcsb. I got pretty lucky because a friend of a friend wanted to trade my stock suspension for his belltech lowering kit. He bought the truck lowered and wants to lift it so he need the stock hardware. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. I bought the silverado ss 22's and put 45's on it. Now that its lowered it rubs NASTY. Anyone else go this route? Im not sure if i should go in inch higher in the front or spend the time and peel the fender up. I would like to keep the light raked look. https://plus.google.com/photos/112443153475419218425/albums/5622699523186862481
  2. Right now its making a little better than stock numbers. The motor u see in the pics will be in there for a little just to get everything in place ( wiring, linkage hoses ect....) I am building the same motor but with alot of stronger upgrade parts for compound turbos. For the near future on the built motor im going with upgraded valve springs, ported head, slightly larger valves, bigger turbo/injectors/inj pump ect..... I want it to be a reliable daily and still have the grunt to blow the doors off the unsuspecting. Thanks. I could of def gone the small block chevy with all the goodies but that was too easy. Thanks. I'll post more pics when i have the SS bumper and 2500 Duramax hood on it. I choose that engine because there notorious for there strength and reliability. Ultimately i wanted something diesel that still had the manors of a gasoline. It was between the Cummins 4BT and the Isuzu 4BD1T. The Cummins runs MUCH rougher and ppl are asking ridiculous money for them. These Isuzu's idle like glass. I had also planned on upgrading and the Isuzu's come with a very favorable inline injection pump, the inline pumps on the cummins are alot harder to come by. I distribute biodiesel here in MIami and i wanted to run my own fuel. The diesel serves a couple purposes.....mileage, cool factor, and the torque to tow my boat and still get 35mpg.
  3. Hey everyone long time lurker here on the forum. I figured now that I am done with most of the big stuff I can post up a bunch of pics. This project began about a year ago and between school, work and $$$$$ has taken me this long to complete. Nonetheless the hard work has paid off. Let me know what you think. 2006 RCSB Stock NV3500 Trans 1986 Isuzu 4BD1T (out of an Isuzu box truck) Beltech 5/8 Drop Silverado SS 22'' Reps. https://plus.google.com/photos/112443153475419218425/albums/5622699523186862481
  4. Just got off the phone with the guys from link posted above and there saying ATLEAST 8-10 weeks before we see them.
  5. Thanks for the link. I guess im getting them in Black, the savings over the chrome will pay for paint.
  6. Hello, Did a bunch of searching but it seems like stock of these wheels comes and goes. I ready to throw a set on the truck but cant find anyone with the 22x10 SILVER 22" SS replicas. Any one have a good lead on where to get them at a reasonable price?
  7. Hey Im in the works of building a clone but with a little different flavor. Im putting in a 4 cyl diesel with a 6 speed manual. What is your tire size with the 20's? and what size tires did you have on the 22's? Im not sure what size to go.
  8. Up For Sale is a 2006 4.3 V6 with a 5 speed out of a Chevrolet 1500 Pick Up truck. The engine is being pulled to do an engine swap and is in perfect working order. It currently has 48,978 miles and its being left in the chassis for perspective buyers to drive and hear before I remove it. PM me with any questions. You can view the engine running at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTPRujVMS58 Asking $2000 or best offer.
