2003 Black SS Part Out 60K Miles Front End Damage
Rocfrog replied to highvoltamps's topic in For Sale/ Wanted
Sorry I guess I should be more specific.... I need all the components of the gas pedal for the "Drive by wire" set up. My truck is currently a V6 "drive by cable" and I might be getting an '03 V8 so I need the pedal, module, and associated wiring to swap it into my truck. Nick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Parting out 2003 Silverado SS 76K Original Miles
Rocfrog replied to 05ReallySlowTruck's topic in For Sale/ Wanted
If parts are still available I might be in the market for gas pedal and module....and I'm local so I can pick up. Nick -
Well I agree it's not the best option but I could barely afford this truck let alone a real SS. I figure I could start with looks, front and rear bumper, then maybe a set SS wheels. Then I could start on drive train, I would really like to put a 454 in it but I think a 5.7l will work. I'm a do-it-your selfer. I competly fab up all my own parts and make all my own stuff with very minimal parts and money. I guess I consider my self very frougle., and if there is something I don't know how to do I figure it out. But all this is pretty basic and I believe I could pull this off pretty cheaply with the engine being the biggest cost.... Nick

Hello! I'm new to this forum and to Silverado's. My 2000 Chevy Blazer was totaled when some kid hit me from behind while I was turning into my driveway a few weeks ago. So I took the opertunity to upgrade toa full size. SO after two weeks or so of looking at tons of trucks we settled on this one.... It's a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd V6 Club/quad cab. It's not everything we wanted and defintely our first 2wd truck (I'm an off roader at heart!) but it was the nicest one in our price range. So I was just trying to find some forums so I could find some info about these trucks and am finding very little but then I stumbled on this one and got my gears turning, I think I want to turn this into an SS clone! Here is a link to all the pics..... My link Nick
