oh and one more simple question do these trucks have to be ran on premium? or can i get the middle octane and throw some of the cheap booster stuff in the tank (if they do work...)

Im interested in getting my first sss, ive been looking at a few and i found 1 close to me, the guy dosent really know much about it, hes a younger man like myself. and theres a few bugs in it.. the one im mainly conserned with is the classic GM faulty Speedo. I was told that if the speedo isnt working then the odometer isnt working either, is this true? infact i think most off the guages werent working. the next thing is telling if its a real ss or not. its got all the badges, but ss isnt stitched in head rests (im not sure if this comes with all ss'). is there a way to tell, like a badge that says authentic ss or something like that? thanks for the help!
