  1. I pull both front head lights and put the tailgate down, good for a full second!
  2. Wow... that was a fun one to read lol, pretty hard to get bolt on SSS's out of the 15's up here... something about our track being 6000 ft above with a nice 9-1000ft corrected DA on a nice hot day lol. Super88 just hasn't raced any fast trucks out here yet! (no pun intended just the truth....) NO...... lol that is not an 88mm just so you know, its a 4088 which is a 65.5mm with an 88mm exducer, still an ok street turbo though!
  3. Yeah it use to surprise the hell out of people on the old rear mount setup lol, it's a lot of fun for sure! It's a combo tank lol, coolant overflow on the very front, coolant surge in the middle and a oil catch/breather tank on the back, it has two 3" round filters that go on the back too.
  4. Truck is leaving MoFab tomorrow and coming back to our shop for all the final touch up work! Here are a few pics, IC pipes, exhaust, IC mounting, trans cooler mounting is all done now! Working on heater hose routing...... not fun. I'll get pics of the other stuff when I get it back to the shop.
  5. Thanks lol ;) Thanks man! Thanks man! Lol, yup just lots of pretty metal! Thanks man! Thanks man, that's the plan!
  6. Yes please keep us updated, I want fronts and rears when they are finished!
  7. Got most of the intercooler pipes finished up, still a 4" round section to finish that goes up to the throttle body... pics of full 4" exhaust all mocked up and tacked in place, just going to add a dump on the end...
  8. I guess I'll have some pics of the exhaust tonight too, he said he will be done with it tonight! I'll let you know how it sounds, its got a 4" downpipe and full 4" exhaust. Thanks man, AC is still fully intact, I will have to modify the dryer and large rubber AC hose though, the dryer will have to have a 45 degree elbow added to it and the large rubber hose will need to be longer... i'll mess with that last. I see your doing a new build sounds fun!!
  9. Well intercooler pipes are almost done and I picked up a nice 4" round Magnaflow diesel muffler for it, I'm just going to dump the exhaust under the bed, I'll get some pics of the IC pipes soon!
  10. Thanks man! Thanks, hoping to have some IC pipes on her in a couple weeks! Thanks man, yeah she has been through a lot!
  11. Thanks man, yeah tires don't last to long when she is in 2wd lol, I kinda like the TBSS emblems on there, I don't think the gray SSS badges look good on white myself....
  12. Thanks man, yes the fuel system is setup just as you described. Thanks man! Thanks man, its kept me pretty busy for sure lol. Thanks man! Its a runner!
  13. Thanks man, its been down for about twos seasons now so im ready lol! Thanks man, yeah my wife loves her SS, we got it dirt cheap too so I was able to make it pretty nice for her! I know right, I'm pretty sure I still got one of the old stock though, injector height is still off .150 thousands from side to side......
  14. Got my damn intake today after a four and a half month wait! Most recent pics! new valley cover -12 breather system: Holley intake final install which was a total PITA by the way!!! love the HI Ram, but it is kinda "Janky" if you know what I mean! Still need to make a new mount for the fp regulator, old one is bent and hangs down.....
  15. And its current state as of this week................ Working on the new fuel system install. I've been waiting on a Back ordered Holley hi-ram for 3 months now, just need that to finish up my IC pipes and then a bunch of small nick nacks after that... its getting closer: Got most of the fuel system plumbed and the 5" aluminum intake finished over the weekend...
  16. Finally dropped it! Did a 2/4 kit: And now the 370 front mount build/install:
  17. So then i started on the rear mount turbo setup using a TC78 and retaining my ATW setup from my Vortech V2, Ran this setup for a while... ran mid 14's until i got in touch with Shane and Zippy and got a Better tune, we switched over to a 2 bar SD setup and tossed in a Pro Yank 3600 converter which got me to my best time to date of 11.66 at 115 with a 1.6' on 7-8 psi, we most likely could have got high 10's out of this setup but we were having boost control issues with only 2 test and tunes left before the track closed for the season and my 370 was ready to go in so we just tore it down:
  18. Added gauges, SS cluster and TBSS steering wheel/airbag next: started building a LS2 with ported L92 heads, Vortech V2 kit and a comp TSP 224R cam: Picked up a OE SS front bumper (LS2 going in): Got the LS2 running, added a WTA IC setup: (Made 524 to the wheels on 7 psi running pretty lean, didn't get to finish because it spun a rod bearing on the next dyno pull........... :bang: found out engine was built way too loose by a local engine builder... sold it all and started slowly building my forged 370) Forgot to mention the 4l60e let go before the LS2 did, drove it with no second gear for three months while i saved for the 80e swap... couldn't get the dealer to fix the 4l60e under powertrain warranty lol ( i wonder why ): Picked up these hot pipes and intake setup... never used them and sold them to finish the rear mount i started: Started to build this junkyard LQ9 with 80k, added some off the shelf LS3 heads and a used LS7 cam, was built for my buddies 66 Chevelle but he let me borrow it for a while so i could get my truck back on the road while i was building my forged 370:
  19. Decided to make a new thread and get rid of all the junk in the old one.. just gonna keep it short and sweet! when i brought her home with 18k, paid 11,000 for it, 07 classic 4x4 4.8 4l60e: First mods were intake, exhaust, walbro 255 and some long PS tubes... threw on a maggie m90 side mount with supporting mods and ran E85 for a year or so (back when it was dirt cheap and gas was 5 bucks lol), made 320 to the wheels on 5 psi: Went threw three sets of 20" wheels, ran these chrome TTST;s for a while. Picked up Painted mirrors, and grille tips from a 06 Z71.... also switched to a powdercoated billet bowtie, Z71 Tailgate with the step and added some OE fog lights:
