    Welcome to the club. I got hit twice in one day last weekend. Both times I was sitting in it. The second one I rolled down the window and said, What the F***! So that pissed her off .So then she bumped her fat a** into her door as hard as she could,to swing it into mine, leaving a nice dent. Needless to say she needs a REALLY GOOD body man to fix the scratches that magically appeared down the side of her car when she went into the store.

    they were 865 for the year last time i don't know yet i already had 3 speeding tickets at the time.. i dont think losing my liscence will make them jump too high :O

    im thinkin like 1200$ max i have to see with different companies..

     

    Heck, $1200 is less than what I pay for mine, with no tickets.So if you get it for that, I'd be happy.

    are the insurances really high? might be for me i'm 20 3 speeding tickets and lost my liscence 6 months ago :O

    I'm pretty sure your insurance is going to be high then, no matter what vehicle you own.

    Do you think it would be possible to put on a thick coat of plasti dip and then paint an actual gloss paint color over top and still have it peel off?

     

    By an actual gloss paint, I'm assuming you mean spray a layer of automotive clear over the top of the plasti-dip. If so, why? If you are going through the trouble of spraying clear,why not just spray a base coat of black first.

    Im might do another one after work slows down. i have been slammed at work and dont even have much time to get on the forum anymore. its been a crazy 14 weeks at work but looks like its starting to slow down a bit. which it does about this time every year. once i have time i will do another one of these for sure it will be a month or so but i will do another one. i will open a new thread and give it 2 or 3 weeks for everybody to buy hats then ill make another order.

     

    You could leave the thread open 2-3 years, and some people would still miss the order. Happens every time :crazy:

    Plasti-dip strikes again!

    Yeah, many people have coated their rims with it.Honestly, one set a week pop up on here.I have never seen gloss black. You can get the "Glossifier" plasti-dip to put over the top of the flat. I would get them powder coated, or painted. Plasti-dip is a PITA. Can't use certain cleaners, don't scrub to hard,don't let any brake cleaner get on them, if you don't spray it really thick it's a PITA to get off, not to mention powder coating, or painted looks 1000s better. These are just my opinions though, what matters is if you will like them.
