  3. My crew cab 4x4 sits 2" taller than an SS with 275/55/20 tires.
  4. You want to purchase an oversize 6.5" 2 or 3 way speaker. When connected to the factory BOSE system, the new speakers will be slightly lower volume than the factory ones were. BOSE uses 2 ohm speakers & most aftermarket ones are 4 ohm.
  5. Thanks for the comments & pics. Cant wait to get mine going.
  6. Looks nice. Cant wait to get mine done.
  7. Looks like a front to me. Where are you located & how much are you asking for it????
  8. Wyoming. I can wait as I'm in no hurry. It would have to be repainted anyways. I have a crew cab I'm converting. Send me some pics when you're ready.
  9. Thanks. I haven't seen another SS crew.
  10. Looking for a decent SS front bumper cover. Let me know what you might have.
  11. Thanks. I like them better than the stock look. Way easier to see in the day time.
  12. I am going with the drop shackles & turning the torsion bars down on mine. I haul stuff in the bed & tow often. If I have a weight problem I plan on adding helper spring to it or an additional leaf to my spring pack.
  13. Havent been able to do much to it with the weather. I will be lowering it as soon as the weather is nice. Just installed a new tranny in the Syclone. Plenty of pics of the Syclone: http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=76783&highlight=camaro&page=6 Did do this to the gauges over the winter:
  14. It looks like I have the OEM dual piston calipers.
  15. My truck is needing front brakes. I would like to change to something better than stock. Does the SS come with dual piston calipers on the front? I'm not sure what I have yet on mine as I took it to the tire shop to have winter tires put on it. I also plan on changing the rotors if needed if they are too small. Has anyone else that has done front brake conversions on these trucks know if the SS calipers & rotors are compatible with mine? I see a ZO6 conversion too. What is needed for that conversion? Thanks for any help here.
  16. I just read your first post & didnt see the "brand new" part. Mine is used, in good condition BUT used.
  17. I have a 2005 Chevy crew. I plan to make it into an crew SS with lowered suspension, cladding (I plan on custom making the rear doors out of fronts), bumpers, grille& headlights, except w/o the 6.0 BUT with a 5.3+turbo. I am no stranger to turbo charged trucks. I do own a Syclone. I want something a bit different. I have been looking for & wanting an SS for the past 2 years & have had 2 deals fall through. Both black 2004s. Unfortunately with the size of my family we cant fit into an ext cab. Here's what I started with: Here's where I'm at right now. I've missed a couple good deals on full cladding kits here. A little more work tonight:
