  1. What could be causing the little play at the output, or is it nothing to worry about, I was just thinking that it might wear out the output seal. I already have to open it up anyways to change the input shaft.
  2. Yeah I will do this. Is there anything else like different shafts, bearings, or gears? I am probably going to do a rebuild as there was some play on the output
  3. So I am in the middle of swapping to a performance 4l80e and I was just wondering if there is anything that I can do to beef up the transfer case at the same time while it is out. I already have to break it apart to change the input, so was thinking about building it up at the same time. Any info would be great and part numbers would be even better.
  4. Did it work good, and how about them coilovers; what is the better way? Also do you remember how much you lengthened the axles? Are you a dealer or who do you order parts from? Thanks for all the info
  5. Also how would the djm 3 inch lower a arms and 2" Mcgraughy drop Spindles work?
  6. Did it still have good handling? So if I take out the tortionbar set up and put coil overs in it should work good? Do you have the part number for the coil overs? Also if I lower it 5" how much should I lengthen the axles by?
  7. So you would just be rolling on Air struts.... I see very poor handling then.
  8. How do I go at putting bags on the front with torsion and AWD
  9. I am running a 24" x 9.5" and +30 offset. my tires are 285/35. I have lowered mt truck 2/4, but I want 5/7. Right know since I lowered it I have a bit of positive camber since I have not got an alignment yet. So once i get rid of that it might miss but if not I might give it some negative camber. I am not too worried about tire wear since were I live I only get to drive it about 1000km a year.
  10. has anyone put some extra camber on the wheels to lower it more? I want to get my truck lower, but I might have to adjust the camber to make it fit. Just wondering if anyone has done this and what would be the best way to.
  11. Almost ready, just got my adapter from timetokill and picked up a stage 3 built 4l80e. So i Need to get a flex plate for a 4l80e, is that correct?
  12. I would buy a pair, but can I get them in white?
  13. The Grille is actaully black chrome, I will have to get some new pictures, since I have got the truck shaved
  14. I paid about $500, but that was with no core and shipping to Canada
  15. I have the headlights off ebay as well and my taillights are 4 coats and then cleared. Make sure to clear it or it will get dull and lighter as you was it. For tickets here they can give you 2 different ones; either one for tint which is just under $60 or the can give you one for illegal objects on your vehicle and that is $115, which is the one I always get in my car; proves it is a cash thing. Asked the cop why he is giving me the wrong ticket and he told me I am welcome to fight it. My truck though I only get in shit and threatened with being towed... Or band from small towns!
  16. Yeah I am running a Turbo set up as well, and was going to go either 3200 or 3500. Is there any certain year transmission that won't work for this? A guy is selling a built transmission that was for a 1998 that got wrecked before he put it in, so just wondering if it will work. Thanks for all your help!
  17. which is the one wire that you had to swap around in the harness?
  18. Great info, I already have the transfer case input coming from timetokill. What rpm of stall torrque converter are you running? I was planning on at lease a 3000
  19. Thats Awsome. Very Helpful and easy. So then do you have to get anything done to the ecm? Also do you know the gauge of wiring they used incase I have to make my own wiring. Thanks for everything
  20. Were does the second speed sensor get wired too. Were did you get the info to do this? thanks.
  21. So I am planning on swapping to a 4L80e and a guy is selling a built one, but it has a stand alone ECM and wiring. So I am wondering if this is a good way to go or not. Also if I did go this route would the transmission Temp Gauge work or would I have to do something to get it to work. Any info would be great. Thanks!
  22. Just put five coats of tint and a coat of clear. Mine were clear Led's, I did not like the look of them, but liked how they lit up. So I bought them and did that and you can't see anything untill the lights are on.
  23. How much did you lengthen them by?
  24. Have you ever fitted 24" with this set up??? I think I would have to go with different rims since my wheels are flush with outside of the fenders, or is there something you can do to get around that?
