  1. easy djm 3 inch lower a arms and then you use the drop struts that go thru the upper shock hole. Ive done qa1 coilovers on the front of a sss with the djm 3 inch lower a arms works perfect.

Also how would the djm 3 inch lower a arms and 2" Mcgraughy drop Spindles work?

    Do you sell parts????

  3. Did it still have good handling? So if I take out the tortionbar set up and put coil overs in it should work good? Do you have the part number for the coil overs? Also if I lower it 5" how much should I lengthen the axles by?

  4. I am running a 24" x 9.5" and +30 offset. my tires are 285/35. I have lowered mt truck 2/4, but I want 5/7. Right know since I lowered it I have a bit of positive camber since I have not got an alignment yet. So once i get rid of that it might miss but if not I might give it some negative camber. I am not too worried about tire wear since were I live I only get to drive it about 1000km a year.

  5. has anyone put some extra camber on the wheels to lower it more? I want to get my truck lower, but I might have to adjust the camber to make it fit. Just wondering if anyone has done this and what would be the best way to.

  6. I have the headlights off ebay as well and my taillights are 4 coats and then cleared. Make sure to clear it or it will get dull and lighter as you was it. For tickets here they can give you 2 different ones; either one for tint which is just under $60 or the can give you one for illegal objects on your vehicle and that is $115, which is the one I always get in my car; proves it is a cash thing. Asked the cop why he is giving me the wrong ticket and he told me I am welcome to fight it. My truck though I only get in shit and threatened with being towed... Or band from small towns!

  7. Yeah I am running a Turbo set up as well, and was going to go either 3200 or 3500. Is there any certain year transmission that won't work for this? A guy is selling a built transmission that was for a 1998 that got wrecked before he put it in, so just wondering if it will work. Thanks for all your help!

  8. I should just make a sticky about this. i have sent so many members this over the last year on how to do the swap. really its a super easy swap. but i guess its all depends on your skill level. i have never went to any type auto training classes. i have just thought myself this stuff over the years by doing tons of research and just hopping in a getting my hands dirty.

if you need more help with this i can email everything step by step. im out tonight got to get up a 5am.

Thats Awsome. Very Helpful and easy. So then do you have to get anything done to the ecm? Also do you know the gauge of wiring they used incase I have to make my own wiring. Thanks for everything

  9. Personally i wouldn't do a stand alone ECM with the wiring. I'd just use your factory wiring and add the second speed senor and have it retuned. its that easy. the wiring is super simple no joke.. all you have to do its swap one wire on the transmission harness and add the second speed sensor wire thats it with electrical. your temp gauge will work just fine. the 4l80 swap was one of the easiest mod's i have ever done. if you can swap transmission you can do the swap.

I did this swap by myself and I had never done a swap like this before. I didn't have one issue and it took me less than 10 hrs from start to finish doing this on my garage floor with no lift.

it took longer for the driveshaft shop to build my driveshafts then it took to do this swap.

Were does the second speed sensor get wired too. Were did you get the info to do this? thanks.

  10. So I am planning on swapping to a 4L80e and a guy is selling a built one, but it has a stand alone ECM and wiring. So I am wondering if this is a good way to go or not. Also if I did go this route would the transmission Temp Gauge work or would I have to do something to get it to work. Any info would be great. Thanks!

  11. Uhm it was Norcalls djm/belltech kit. Shackle/hanger with spindles. The only weird thing about the whole thing was it was fine for like 2 or 3 months then the one in the pictures above broke like it did and as soon as I would put a new one in it would pop out when the wheels turned. Lengthened them and have had no problems since.

How much did you lengthen them by?

  12. front djm 3 inch arms

    front belltech spindles

    rear belltech flip kit

    rear djm shackles

5/7 drop and aligns one thing the spindles with control arms keeps angle better

Have you ever fitted 24" with this set up??? I think I would have to go with different rims since my wheels are flush with outside of the fenders, or is there something you can do to get around that?
