I just bought my 03 sSS... when I got to the dealer the SS badge was missing. Previous owner must have wanted a keepsake.. so I had them replace it through a dealer before I went back in to pick it up. Here's the thing... The SS is not raised / sprayed silver. It looks like the ones on ebay for $25 (gm dealer charged them $93 and change for it, seen the invoice) . Does anyone have one of the originals up for sale?!? I could always get one of the "Intimidator" inserts from ebay but thats not what i want...

My buddy was at the gym I go to a few days a week (Fitness19 in Depew) yesterday. I get a message from him with a pic of the Red SSS with a shopman1 bowtie sitting there in the parking lot. Ive never seen this one before... especially there. WHO IS IT? ... Nice truck. Sss's are few and far between around here... when the weather breaks we gotta cruise.

Mine is black. I would have to say silver is the rarest... only because i have never actually seen one in person.

Just paid $3.89 for Sunoco 93 this past sunday. This morning same station has it for $3.92. NYS taxes...

Great guy to deal with.. I emailed him about an SS bowtie this past thursday. Sent him payment the same day... come saturday when i got home from picking up my 03 SS IT WAS IN MY MAILBOX!!!!! What a difference something like that makes to the look of the truck. Thanks Shopman1 I will post pics as soon as I can shine her up. Just snowed AGAIN on sunday.
