Hey guys, possible dumb question here... I have an 03 ss, 95k miles I have owned for just over a year. I'm not too much into the performance mods and such, as far as I can tell other than exhaust I'm all stock but when I installed a remote start I noticed the passlock system seemed to be bypassed already (I could use any cut key to start). Is this an indication some tuning was already done? Thanks for any input!

Thanks guys. Looked into the leak further and it seems to be the gasket. Never leaks when I have run it, just when it sits a couple days. Needs belts anyhow so I plan to get the parts together and enjoy driving it a bit. I will replace the pump and belts next weekend.

I live in north central NC, just bought a 03 SS, red with 84k. Upgraded from a 01 tundra, need somthing to pull a boat better, have not had a chance to try it out yet but I'm sure this thing will. Have not gotten to drive it much yet, put it in the garage for some cleaning and upgrades and I noticed coolant leaking. I'm thinking the water pump or hopefully somthing simple. Gonna pressure check the system tonight and see if I can find it. Looking forward to driving it, it's all stock other than flowmasters and its a great looking truck. Any suggestions on the leak would be helpful. Not much of a leak, I just cant see where it's coming from with all the stuff still attached. Nice site with lots of good info! Lee
