  1. Yeah that lower pic has them in 22s and they do look good.. What size tire would you run with a 2/4 drop and a 22?
  2. haha you're right they do look like an I rock rim.. I had my heart set on the kmc slides until I saw these. I know some guys put the 24" slides on with that drop and had a small amount of rubbing, but those are 24x9.5 not sure if the extra half an inch is going to make a drastic difference or not
  3. hey guys i have an 03 ss awd and was looking into lowering it 2/4 and putting the 24' dub ballers on it. Few concerns i have are that they only come in the 24x10 and i was worried that they would rub, i know putting a 24 on our trucks will rub no matter what i just would hate to buy them and find out the truck is undriveable. wondering if anyone is running a 24x10 with a 2/4 drop and if so i would love to see some pics thanks! heres a couple pics of what the wheels look like
  4. i use a mig wilder for steel and just keep tacking to the stud untill it sticks out about an inch or so, then i hang a 15mm nut on the tacked out weld the weld the nut to the tack and it comes out. you cant weld steel to aluminum so it shouldnt weld itself to the aluminum head.. if any splatter gets on the head you should be able to knock it off pretty easily. i dont know how your mig is but mine works good everytime..
  5. ive fixed about 10 of these. i use a coned sanding disk on the end of my drill and clean the head of the bolt to get a clean weld on it, then i use a mig welder and keep tacking untill the tack sticks out enough to hang a nut off then i weld the nut to the metal that is sticking out use a swivel with and extension the work it out back and forth and it comes out! works every time! might break 2 or 3 times but eventually you get a good weld on it and it WILL come out!
