Did the brush strokes show up or did it level pretty well?
-
I run them too as a summer tire, only put on 4k miles so don't know how they will hold up in the long run. They look great, hook up wet or dry, have them off by the time the s ow flies. Looking at the tread would think a snow wouldn't be an issue with AWD.

Worth a try, live and learn.......I think you can only die a white letter & even that fades away.
-
It sure would, meet you half way and try them out.........
-
Thanks, I think it would be close to the same as the Red on an SSS as it matches almost perfect to the Red on my 04 Monte SS.
-
Yes, for the SS logo version. If you go no logo or a bow tie you can get them at autoanything cheaper. Depending on how long the paint lasts, figured it would be a wash anyway.
I will only use in the summer with the chrome shoes & take them off when I put the winter wheels on.

Good luck finding your dream ride, do you head to the MN fairground for any of the car shows?
If you change your mind and want to check it out I live 15 minutes from Roseville and could take a look for you so you don't drive over if it is a waste of time.

Sorry for the loss, glad you walked away from the crash & go with the cowl hood.
-
I know right!?! Loved them all....exept Tokyo drift....
Agree 100%, looking forward to seeing 6 this weekend.
-
Looks nice, wouldn't trade my SS for one but would like to add it to the garage.
-
Hope it is what you want and then order some shine supplies from Adam's & you will have a beautiful black SS.
-
Welcome from MN, hope the truck is as described.......a Northern Midwest meet would be great. Anyone coming for back to the fifties or car craft this summer?
-
Sad how universally true the story is......

You buy an Ultimate Kit and I'll see that it ships for free.
Get it all upfront with either the PC or Flex, I received my order and had to get the rest of the ultimate after the fact. Once you start it is addicting, I justified simply by the cost of a detail on all 5 vehicles from a local detailer. The kit has saved me many times over & I know the job is done right......not to mention it is relaxing for me.

I run the stock Goodyear's for winter on a 20" non SS factory wheel & 22" Nitto 420's for summer. Great combination for the different seasons in Minnesota, the truck had no issue with the 10" snowfall yesterday. Originally thought about winter tires then it would be unstoppable.
Good luck with the choices, many to choose from to fit the needs & look you are after.

I haven't ordered them yet, but will be for my Monte SS. Have a Dale Jr. Edition, run weather tech in the winter and will change out to Lloyd's for the summer for the look. Either Husky or WT are great for our trucks in the winter keeping all the road crap out & easing the spring detail.
Here is a link over on Adam's for the floor mats, they only provide quality products with amazing customer service. Pictures and a video are on the page too, if you have questions call Adam's and they will help you out.

I have to agree that Adam's is the way to go, you can't beat the quality, service, and don't forget the video's to help you get close to what Dylan can do.

I can look into this for you with the last eight of your VIN. Please contact me privately for more assistance. Thank you.
Tricia, Chevrolet Customer Service.
Tricia,
Would you be willing to help out on an 04 Monte - Dale Jr Edition? I am the second owner and was unable to get the COA.
Thanks,
Ron

I put the Helo on mine with 305's, chrome with the black insert though. I don't think they will tuck in the rear, I am traveling for work, but will try to get a pic when I get home next week.

I prefer Eagle One Mag wheel cleaner or their All Wheel cleaner.
Adams Green Wheel Cleaner is what I use, Adam's has the best products out and is good to support a sponsor!

Not as of yet, a few attempts to meet at BIR and Car Craft that didn't work out.
Up for one anytime though.

DD, recently my wife took it for a drive and decided it was a great truck.........working on a second one now to turn into the garage queen!

Go with the ultimate, I did and it was the best decision I could have made. Just so you are warned, Adam's is addicting!Make sure to spend time in the forum and with the videos, great support all the way around.

Here a couple of other pix I took tonight. It is cloudy and truck dirty, I think they work with 20 & 22's anything bigger and they wouldn't cover enough.
