Where in Louisville are you at? I work downtown and live in Bullitt county.

The one I took off was square. The one they gave me was cylindrical but it had two ports to connect hoses. One was for the quick disconnect and the other was a barb fitting that I had no hose to attach to. But I did end up replacing it with square one just like the original. This is my second day of driving just to make sure the issue is resolved and the CEL is still off... knock on wood.

Finally got the right part and got everything back together. Didn't think to unhook the battery cable while I was doing everything so I got it all back together and the CEL was still on. Disconnected the battery and the CEL went off. Hope I never have to do it again.

Interesting. Mine was located on the top front of the tank. What year is your truck? I don't think I could have yanked it out any other way.

Was the part on top of the front of the tank? And the bracket for it was bolted to the frame? It's possible and probable I took the hard way to doing this job.

I had to drop the tank to get it out. Good thing I didn't fill up like I was gonna. Seems like the tank is always full when it has to be dropped lol

Well it looks like they gave me the wrong part. What I got had 2 places to connects hoses and what I took off only had one. Of course they don't have what I need but they'll have it Tuesday.

I can't post pictures from my phone for some reason but the part I pulled off and the part I bought are different. Is there a hose that needs to be added or do I have the wrong part?

the check engine light came on so I had it scanned and it came up as a bad vapor can vent valve. My questions..... where the hell is it? What does it do?

I have glasspacks on my truck that exit before the right rear wheel. It doesn't sound that great unless you're ripping ass but it's by no means quiet.

Would you mind posting up what you went with? Do you have to bypass the factory amp? How is the bass? I'd like to do this but I'm afraid I'll have to add subwoofers and I don't want to get into that stuff again.

Yeah this is kinda what I was talking about. There's a lot of older f-150's with a outlaw II style wheel that looks like that Nascar truck wheels. I like the look. Might do it to mine one day if I ever get the balls to lower it. I think the key to pulling this look off is a lowered stance. Anything else just looks redneck or fake.

I'm sorry but the wheels you're after look like wheels off of a work truck. What I said I liked looks good in my opinion. Maybe a smaller sidewall tire and drop would help the wheel you like but the picture you posted would make me ask the owner if it was a really SS.
