  1. For sale: 2004 arrival blue for $15,000

    Mileage: 54,482

    Location: Pittsburgh Pa area

towing pkg, xm , onstar (original not upgraded to digital) so it might be useless.

magnaflow 15840 no tips, volant cai with tube (filter currently needs cleaned), pcm tune. (all on since middle of 2005)

Also have stock cat back(all in one piece) and air intake available.

    soft tonneau, husky mud flaps

A few minor scratches and nicks as a daily driver would have but no dings or dents. Rubber mat in bed and bed has been used to haul so there are scratches on the inside of the bed. Will provide pictures if someone is really interested.

  2. While on the phone with one of the major cai companies they said that they do use WD-40. When asking them about waht i could use on their filters he told me, "We use that expensvie stuff in the blue and yellow can..... wd-40". I was told that the red for the k&n and the blue for the volant are dyed so that you can see where you already covered.

  4. You might want to try some of the local places. I drive south on 51 to a place. I have gotten my goodyear ls and my yokohama for the ss for 129.00 and 139.00 and i forget what i paid the third time but the price that he quotes has always been for the tire, mounting and balancing. The only extra beyond that price were the tax and tire disposal fee (i think 2 per tire).

  5. I know you were asking about 2wd but here is my post from last year @ tbss.com

Well last night we took my dad's awd SS up to the track. Bone stock with 1500 miles on it. First pass was the best. The high for the day was 72 and I think the display had 55-65 degrees through the night.

  6. Do you have the stock magnaflow tip with the drain hole in the bottom and the rolled lip? Try taking it off and see if it still whistles. I think mine did when I had the original tips on (15840) but I have switched to different tips a while ago and don't notice the whistle any more.
