  1. In short, you can buy all the JB Weld, patch material that you want but nothing is really going to hold well enough to use it. Buy a new one and be done. You can look at salvage yards for one, just make sure to look at all the open lines and holes as typically when fuel tanks sit around at a yard they get dust/dirt in them. Sometimes it can't be cleaned, sometimes a good cleaning is all you need. It's a 50/50 chance. Otherwise OEM is the only way to go. www.gmpartsdirect.com
  2. I'm running 275/45R20 on a 2/4 and it looks just right. Mine is a RCSB tho...
  3. This definitely is not exclusive to Buick/Olds/Pontiac folks. Just a regular test n tune for fun/grudge matches.
  4. Sunday September 11th, 2011 Byron Dragway Test n Tune – Buick/Olds/Pontiac Club Day www.byrondragway.com http://www.byrondrag...11/bop_wars.pdf Cost: $30 If you're within driving distance of Byron, IL (northern Illinois) then keep reading! I'm looking to get a big group of folks together that want to head to Byron for a day. They have this event posted on their regular schedule on the website and I thought it would be a good opportunity for some of us to get out before the end of the season for some runs. Gates open at 9 AM with racing starting at 10 AM. Come bring your ride out for some ¼ mile drag strip racing! I'm also planning a caravan for any of you that live in the Bloomington-Normal area, or come through there on the way to Byron. The plan is to meet in the parking lot next to Discount Tire in north Normal before 8 AM. We will be taking off right at 8 and starting the 2 hour trip north on I-39. Post and let me know if you plan on going!
  5. Might be selling the gate outright. Looking at buying a stocker from the junkyard and transferring my spoiler over. Let me know if you are interested.
  6. Yikes, a 285 might be wide enough to rub with a drop like that. I'm running 275/45-20's on stock SS wheels and a 2/4 but they don't rub. Your aspect ratio will make a difference too.
  7. Bumperooski for anyone looking to shave a tailgate on the cheap!
  8. Here ya go guys. This is just the way it came to me. Looks to me like the patch is starting to separate but for now it still looks good from about 10ft. What you see on the right side of the patch is just some wax buildup. It's also had the full Adam's Polishes Treatment with a polish job and two coats of Americana. Some small scratches on the top of the stock spoiler, and the cargo side has been treated to Linex.
  9. Don't really care for the Arrival Blue SS Tailgate on my truck that has the handle relocated with a Sir Michaels kit. It looks good, but I prefer the stocker myself. Mine is debadged and has the SS spoiler. Looking to trade for a stock Arrival Blue SS tailgate. If you're looking to relocate your handle, it couldn't get any easier than this. Needs a small amount of body work to be perfect but looks good as-is. Will get pics upon request.
  10. Hoping mine comes in soon. They look good!
  11. I'll have to add more pictures later of the rest of the cars. The wife drives a 2008 Pontiac G6, I've still got the 2000 GMC Jimmy 4x4 that is what the truck is replacing, and my grandpa gave me a 1972 Ford Ranchero 500 a couple years ago.
