  1. I'm with you, I've only been on this site for 4 days and I've seen more people selling stuff than on any other forum I've been on, which is fine if you've been here awhile, but someone whose user name is "04 ss for sale".....I mean come on.

And yeah, as soon as I saw that truck with 3 steel wheels, missing cladding, and the owner is too lazy to even wash and wax the damn thing. That makes me wonder about other critical maintenance like oil changes.

  2. Once again another person joins the site just to sell their truck. This is getting damn disrespectufull to the site.

This is the link to the thread, truck needs some serious TLC which only brings the member into question. The thing that chaps my ass most, since its a female selling the SS, all the guys are willing to help her, once again making a mockery of this site :shakehead:

Moderators and Admins please start doing something about this.

I know right, can someone say neglected?

  3. A chevy engine in a ford is a hotrod. A skyline engine in a ford is greddy.gif. thumb.gif Putting a 5.0 in a vette would mean another gm bankruptcy. Plus tokyo drift was only the stupidest fast and furious ever, what a screw-up that whole movie was. banghead.gif But all jokes aside, it's a hell of a project you got there.

  4. I am not trying to part it out here so please do not flag this. I am just curious as to how much you guys think i could get for my SS if i part it out. I've been trying to sell it for a while with no interest whatsoever. Its a loaded 2004 with factory chrome rims and brand new tires. It has a clean title and there is nothing wrong with it. 167k miles. I'm at $8800 OBO right so pretty much what i want to know is if i could part it out and get somewhere close to that. I know that the drivetrain is worth quite a bit along with the cladding, wheels and interior.

Where you located? If you decide to part it out let me know, I want some stuff. You'd probably get the same amout of money either way, except one way it would be a big chunk and the other a little at a time. But ss conversion stuff sells like hotcakes.

  5. Hi, after reading around here for a while I decided I needed to sign up so I can view of the pics y'all post as well as vote in the poles. I do realize that I do not own an SS and thus do not belong here, but I just wanted to thank the many people of this site for helping me with various projects on my truck. I've been a member on gm-trucks for quite a while and didn't really realize they were owned by the same people. Proof. And y'all have awesome silveradoss.com videos on youtube. peelout.gif
