So only a transfer case from another SS will work? or was there other GM trucks / SUV's that had one I can use? I only ask because its going to be nearly impossible to source one from an SS with low miles where I live.

I think there is some kind of acid in eggs that eats through paint, mine got egged last year luckily only the tailgate got hit still had to be repainted tho.

I just did the hydroboost swap and tee'ed in to my original non hydroboost pump and now it is whining I completely understand your frustration I am so mad about it now I have to figure out why its whining, plus pumps are pain in the ass to replace with a procharger.

this will be my next project once I get everything else all wrapped up. so sick of torsion bar suspension!! Would I have to swap back to my stock knuckles for this to work or can I still use my belltech drop ones?

The little gold plate goes between the spring loaded button and the headlight switch housing. If you look at the inside of the headlight switch housing below where the spring loaded button is you will see a little grooved track. Place the gold plate so the nub is in that track then install the button, hope this helps.
