  1. yes I have a 2005 GMC Sierra crewcab that had a 5.3l in it. I just put a 2004 Corvette LS1 with a cam put truck intake on it and I need a tune. Tried getting a hold of Wheatley by email4-6 times. Calling 2 times. Anybody no someone so I can run my truck.
  2. Anybody no how to get ahold of wheatly. Need computer tuned. Emailed him 4 times no answer

      I don't need retuned I need tuned so I crank my truck. Had 5.3 now ls1.

  3. Well everyone it's final. Getting a 216/220 .525/.525 114lsa. Lots of looking and this what I have decided on.
  4. Hey zippy I have list your number. I have talked to you on a 355 build well changed of plans bought a ls1 cheap 14g miles. Wanting a cam that is not lame but not a fire breathing dragon. 05 gmc 4 door I have some comp 918 Sending back a xr265hr comp cam. What cam. Motor came out a 04 corvette.

      Call Zippy before you make any decisions. Tell him what you have now and what your goals are. He won't lead you wrong. There are many other questions that need to be answered before you decide on a cam.

  6. So what does anyone think about trick flow cams. And what would be a good one. Sending cam back tomorrow. Any suggestions. Nothing radical but nothing lame. Ls1 crew cab
  7. Dude I don't know if this will help. But my truck was down for 2 weeks not knowing what the he'll was wrong with it. It wouldn't crank at all. Changed alot starter, fuel pump, relay, ignition etc. Anyways ended up it was my knock sensor under the intake manifold both went out. 2 50$ parts. It started right up after we changed it. Just throwing that out there to you. Good luck.
  8. Aight. Cool. Thanks for the help. What should be done with the heads. Anything besides the springs. I was going to have them port matched but not polished.
  9. Cool. Am I going to have to change push rods and all that. Are can I just throw the cam and springs and send computer to Wheatley and be done. I got some 918 springs. And xr265hr cam never been used. Going to send cam back are just buy that 273.

  11. i bought a ls1 corvette motor and was thinking about the XER273HR cam. 224/230 .581/.592 lift 114lba. Is it a good cam.

  13. I have a 355 stroker that I am Building and was wondering if I need new heads r just rebuild the ones I have. I have beehive valve springs 918. And a xr 265hr cam going in it. Any suggestions. Port polish. Are not. Change valves are not. I'm clueless when it comes to this. Learning.

  15. Looking for a complete 6.0 built, still highway worthy. Please help. I don't want something I'm going to have to take back out fix a month down the road. My truck has a 5.3 right now. Blew up. Please y'all help.

  19. Sorry I meant to put that I am going to turbo it after motor and trans is done. It is a daily driver. I kind of want to use the 5.3 due to that is what is already in it. I would be spending more money buying a 6.0 to build when I have a 5.3 already. STS rear mount turbo is what the final thing is on it. The truck isles show then go right now. I'm not wanting a fire breather from he'll, but that would be fun. Just wanting more power to turn the 22 and the weight of this 1500 4 door. Thank you for replying to the post. I have been looking in the post but haven't ran across any with the cam I am wanting to use.

  21. Hello, I have a 2005 GMC SIERRA 5.3l 323 they call it a 327. But anyways I am wanting to bore it to a 347 forged pistons, forged rods, XR265HR Comp cam, LS3 valve springs, and head port matched not polished blue printed and balanced, and of course headers and exhaust. Is this going to make Big difference. What kind of power am I looking at. Truck will be flashed. First motor build. Thanks.
