i have the stock alarm in it.. thank you for the look out on the a radio! alse found out that the starter relay needs to be replayced

hey guys, we figured out the problem, i noticed that my cd player was messed up when i put cd's in it, it said no disc, so i go to eject it and it said there is no disc in there, which i thought was weird, but the radio is constantly trying to change disc when the car is on, and when its off and open the door, it stops.. but when u close it, it starts to draw power from the battery, so i took the fuse for the radio out, charged the battery, and the truck started right up. so now im out of a radio because of that problem, because the discs are trying to read constantly, but now i have no way of getting the discs out. without pulling out the radio and seeing if i can take the radio apart. thanks to everyone for helping out!

now how would i go out about checking it, i dont wanna start replacing stuff that dont need to be replaced ya know?? i thought it might be the starter, but i didnt hear any clicking or anything

nope no clicking or anything, when i connected the cables to the battery, they were sparking and that told me that it was drawing from somewhere

nope nothing at all, i bought it about a month ago and started right up every morning, and now the past couple days it wont start in the morning, when i put the battery in, and started, drove it around here and there all day, and it didnt have a problem starting up. but this morning i go to start it, and nothing

the other morning my truck wouldn't start, due to the battery being dead, so i jumped it, and ok it was fine, the next day same thing truck wouldn't start, battery charger wouldn't start it, or jumper cables... so i went out and bought a new battery.. put it in, and ok it started.. go to start it this morning and nothing!, tried jumping it, and still nothing!! something is drawing the battery and i don't know what it is.. i need help what can it be?!?!

thanks man, i havnt worked on it in about a month i sent the heads out to get cleaned and had the seals replaced and had them shaved but will be workin on it soon. and will have tons of pics to share

Here is my build, its a 1978 Cutlass Calais, i bought the car about 4 years back, it was my first car and i wanted a project,( i bought it when i was 15 im 19 now) i payed 1200 for it and this is what it has in it, a rebuilt 1968 350 rocket, bored 30 over with over sized cam 453 lift, double roller timing chain, aluminum high performance intake, holly 650 4bbl with electric chock, 400 heads, hooker headers with straight pipes with cherry bomb turbo's has a TH 350 with fairbanks shiftkit and 2200 stall converter, new shocks, new springs front and rear, new fuel tank, all new brake, trans,and fuel lines, needs very little body work, frame is solid, along with floors, truck, and rear quarters, whole car is undercoated.. looking for an 8.5 posi rear end out of a grand national or 442. because i blew up two 7.5 posi rear ends.it has vynal interior, power windows, bucket seats, floor console and rally gauges. here are some pics of the progress,.... plans for the car now is to get all the motor work done, then get body ready for paint. going to paint it black, with a black landue roof, 3 inch exhaust with glass packs , that come out right behind the rear wheels. making it look like a sleeper.

i thought about getting a set of black rims for it but i dont know yet

oh really? i thought it was 25% whats the fine for window tint to dark? and are police real strict about it? just curious

he kept good care of it, had some issues with the title but now that its all squared away finally got it registered. but it failed inspection for window tint. the darkest u can go in ma on the front windows is 25% and he had them down to 1%

thanks!! ya tyngsboro would be gone without it, but they have another bridge right next to it, what was a quiet town is just getting bigger and over populated

thanks everyone!! and i don't know what i wanna do for future mods probably just some performance mods. i think i got a pretty good deal on the truck he originally wanted 22k for it but i just offered him 18k and he was cool with it. is there any new England meets? i would be interested in going, when they start up again
