  1. One thing I have had problems with for laptops and tuning is burning up computers. I have burned up two hp's and one cheap acer. My dell has done awesome. But I also take more precautions now and make sure the laptop doesn't sit flat on the passenger seat and overheat. Just something to keep in mind.

Look for a laptop that has good cooling if you plan on doing a lot of tuning.

I use a little cooling thing that goes under the laptop and plugs into a USB port or to save battery I plug it in to the the 12v outlets
  2. The kn intake for the TBSS is a bit shorter and I think it's about 3 or 3.5" in O.D. And the filter on it is really short and stubby.

I'd personally get a cheap intake on eBay I think it's like $80 for the 4" intake and then get the largest K&N filter for it.

Same thing I did , if anybody needs the link for the intake its 60$
  3. Is there a standard kit out there to have one put in? I had one in my 93 T-Bird 5.0 and just loved that one. Wondering if that could be retro'ed into my truck cause it worked flawlessly for 200k miles and didn't leak.

Theres shops that do it in okc for 850$
