  6. Aftermath Of A Huge Buck Running Into My Truck

    so after 4 weeks of the door for my truck being on backorder, I am finally getting it back tomorrow at noon. This has not been an easy road for me, last week on tuesday they got the door in and said it would be done on friday, then I called on friday and apparently they didnt work on it at all the whole week, and lied when they said all they had left to do was paint the door. Then they said itd be done yesterday, but they didnt get it done, and then they said itd be done today, and again, they didnt get it done, after multiple calls to the manager of the body shop and some choice words, its getting done tomorrow at noon.

     

    GOOD NEWS:

    Everything on the truck besides the hood and roof got repainted

     

    Pioneer AVH-P4200 INSTALLED

     

    Krypton Bulbs 35w 10,000k Came in the mail!

     

    Insurance companies and body shops are like that, when an idiot backed into my truck in a parking lot It took them two months to even get around to it. Lets see some pictures of it though, bet it looks amazing!

    Ive been looking to buy an SS Silverado in Texas for awhile now but can't find one anywhere I look! Thought I would ask around here and see if anyone has one for sale. I would prefer it to be black or maybe Victory Red but if the price is right I could settle for something else. tongue.gif

    Welcome to the forums, you're not off to a bad start with the truck! Are you going to do cladding? What engine doe's it have too?

     

    Thanks! I might look into the cladding next, and at the moment it is just the stock Vortec 4.3 V6. It has a K&N High performance air intake in it and the dual exhaust helps some but I'm still deciding where to go with it next performance wise.

    Just stopping by to say hi to the community, my name is Ryan. I just created this account and hope to get to know everybody, get off to a good start. I am only a teenager in High School, but I pay for my own truck and take pride in it. I have a 2007 Silverado Single Cab that has had some money and time put into it. The goal was pretty much a Single Cab SS, of course I have some of my own custom ideas on it (LED Tailights, Roll Pan, etc.). Here's a picture of it below :P. Anyway, this seems like a great community so I decided to join in and check it out, thanks!vzjxwm.jpg
