I have a viper 5704. While I have the truck running I can hit the remote start button and then take out the key(truck still running). Exit the truck then hit the lock button to activate the alarm. As ssmaniac mentioned once someone hits the break the starter is killed.

Just call them and politely let them know that you are unsatisfied. They should be able to refund you. I use a local florist now because I learned my lesson.

I have a garage too but used to always park in front of my window on the street. I have roommates and didn't want to be n inconvenience and have people move cars all the time so I could park in the garage. Two break ins later.....I park in the garage every night. I hate leaving my truck at friends houses and apts too. Even though its not an ss I love my truck and work my ass off for what I have.

I work in auto loan servicing and a lot of our cars have gps on them and can even be disabled. We use aercept too. As long as you can get cell phone service you should be able to pick up a gps signal. I get a few calls every now and then from a police officer asking me to track a car. Something everyone here should look into.

I bought a set off ebay with the clear reflectors but the housing was black. The ones in the link look clear. Also one of my parking lights has moisture in it. I love the look of them though.

I was thinking of shaving my door handles for looks/added security but then I'll just have more broken windows. If they want it bad enough they will do anything to get it.
