  1. a guy at my college has the red one, i've always thought it looked pretty cool.
  2. Haha best license plate I've ever seen on an sss!
  3. My oil pressure gauge has been messing up on me for a while now and i'm getting sick of it so its time to fix it. First off I have already replaced the sending unit because I thought that's what would have been wrong but that did not fix the problem. The gauge will read 80 or more sometimes and other times will read 0. On top of this when I shut off the engine the gauge might stay at 40 or 80 ect. From what I've read it sounds like the stepper motor. What do you guys think? Is there a how to on replacing these stepper motors?
  4. Do you know if they have dynoliciou on android? I cant seem to find it
  5. Downloaded an app today that calculates 0-60 times, 1/4 mile, top speed, ect. I have heard that they are historically inaccurate but I thought I would give it a try. The best place I could find to do my run was on an entrance ramp to a highway, there is a slight incline of about 15 ft on the ramp but not very steep. I'm sure that altered my results a little bit but i'm not sure how much. Also the times I pulled were a little slower than what I thought they would have been. 0-60: 8.503 1/8mi: 10.545 @ 71.36 1/4mi: 15.525 @ 84.71 I have a CAI, American Racing 1 3/4 long tube headers with high flow cats going into 2.5 magnaflow exhaust, and a live tune from a local tuner. Like i said before I was expecting better times than these. What do you guys think?
  6. You think he really put an ls2 in there? or does he just not know what he really has
  7. Not sure if i like it or not but nice find!
  8. Caps or Blackhawks here. As long as the pens don't win
  9. I never liked the look of black headlights. but its your truck
  10. Yeah gutted cats will definitely throw a code but the hi flows from arh work fine
  11. Maybe i wasn't clear. I meant you will only get 2 to 3 more horsepower than you would from a regular live tune
  12. With just headers a regular tune will be fine. You might get you 2 or 3 horsepower more with a dyno tune but not worth the money, just do a live tune.
  13. I have the arh with cats and drove it for a couple thousand miles before i got it tuned. didn't throw any codes
  14. mine does the same thing, im interested to see how hard it is to fix.
  15. My brother has one from California car covers.. top notch
  16. my gauge is messed up too, but in a different way. sometimes mine will have the needle pinned passed 80
  17. I've been working at a small sears store for a couple of years and from time to time customers will bring in their old appliances, lawn and garden equipment, ect. for us to dispose of. Just the other day we got a working mower from a customer and my warehouse guy decided he wanted to make it into a racing mower. We flipped the front axle, giving it about a four inch drop and it still drives fine. Then we got rid of the muffler, and this thing is louder than my truck with my cutouts open at idle. Next step is to drop a new motor in it. The thing has a 17 horse briggs and straton but a few months ago my warehouse guy came across a brand new kholer engine that has been there longer than i have. It doesn't say the hp but its a v twin and im guessing around 24-26. The new one should bolt right in. after that we're gonna start playing with the pulleys and see what we can do.
  18. Nice one. My friends will like this
  19. Yeah that's a good deal. Nice find!
