  1. Anyone know, are all XM antennas the same? I have XM in my truck but the module went bad and I don't want to buy the $300 replacement so I was going to just get a new radio and buy the $40 XM module from Sirrus to be cheaper and get a nice double-din touch screen out of it. So, question is, can I use my factory antenna with an aftermarket box so I don't have to have 3 boxes on my roof because 2 is plenty...

  2. I was looking at this new double din radio from pioneer, but I have a few questions.

    1. Does anyone have it and like it, reviews seem good?

    2. Does it install easy with the double din install kit without having to modify the dash at all?

    3. I need a new XM module because mine is bad, will the aftermarket pioneer one use the same antenna as the factory or am I better of getting a new GM module and the adapter to fit to the after market radio?

Any and all help/suggestions would be much appreciated!

  3. Yea, I know movies are fake. And i know it wont fry a motor instantly, just in my mind a 100hp burst at peak rpm seems like a lot of stress for an instant hit on a motor. Thats why i want something that will give me 50-75 hp the entire spectrum because i cant afford a pro charger or anything of that sort.

  4. So I watched fast and the furious (4) last night and they run the ford torino with nitro meth injection in that one. I did some digging and found that some corvette guys are running the R/C car nitro mixed in for about 7% total. They claim 85 extra horse with just a couple degrees of timming and a fuel remap. Anyone out there heard of or done this?

  5. Anyone got any pictures of a white stock one? I was thinking of a color change since I am in desperate need of a paint job and am really tired of trying to keep black perfect because i use her as an everyday driver in the summer. Im thinking either white, bramuda blue (gm color) or like a candy whine.

  6. So i've been doing a lot of reasearch and been finding that the intake and heads on an LQ9 are Perfect for a N/A motor and very capable of carrying large amounts of HP. So basically all you need is a cam, stall, headers, and throtle body. The gains from heads and intake along with re-routing pulleys is only 5-10 hp so hardley worth it.

This is what i've read. I have not seen any dyno sheets comparing everything but i've seen HP numbers so i dont know if band with or peak are different but can anyone confirm or dismiss this with eveidence. For a N/A motor.
