Has anyone out there tried to connect driving lights up to the 6-hi mod? is it possible? I think it would be sick to do so. If not i think i might just jump my fogs to the driving light with no diodes so i can run the fogs and running lights with the dash switch that shuts off the running lights if thats possible... anyone know?

So Ray has the black tuck with the chromed factory grills and it looks sick! My question is, how do you get the grill piece seperate from the center br and surround? I painted mine silver last spring by taping off the entier center bar but if i get it dipped that makes life a little difficult haha. anyone?

just saying. if it comes off and hits the fender once and you have to fix it its not worth fixing. buying a new piece from gm while they are still available would be a good idea. the cladding is a bitch if ever comes off and warps.

Just the normal front engine pulleys. I have a stock motor and just want to know what people are talking about lol.

So I may be dumb but what does changing the pulleys do? what should I look for, why should I do it and is it worth it?

Here's the scoop. I can't afford to do everything I want in one summer, but I want to button up the drive train this summer and do all engine work (minus exhaust) next summer. Has anyone ever put a 2600-3200 stall in a factory truck with tans servo upgrades? Second question is, once I have the high stall in how does it affect highway cruising if any? I drive from the Twin Cities to Fargo or Sioux Falls on an almost weekly basis in the summer and don't want to put a stall in if highway cruising around 70mph is affected. My truck has the 4:11's so its around 2300rpm or so at 70mph now.

Hey, the names Andrew, i've been around a bit but I figured i'd see if any other MN people were out there. I live in the twin cities area during the summer because i'm in college up at NDSU (Fargo, ND) and I spend a lot of time at the girls house in Sioux Falls, SD so if anyone lives in any of those three places please hit me up!
I drive an 04' Silverado SS and a 68' Camaro SS during the summer, but I park them both in the winter for a 91' Jeep Cherokee

I doubt I will install any of them if I cant get the XM to work. that is honestly the only thing i use. But i might find a factory one from the 04's because i know there are some out there from escalades and stuff that work in our trucks but my dad and i have to do a bit more digging around GM to see if we can get one haha.

Thanks man, Any good names for HID fogs? Also, are LED fogs brighter or are HID lights in general the brightest you can get? I know some fogs are those projector LED's and I just want something super bright for down the back roads at night. And also, is it same to just put jumps from the HI beam relay to the low and from there to the fog or do I have to go from the Hi to the Low and run a sperate jump from Hi to fog? And how do you jump the high and the low without it feeding back to keep the highs on all the time or is that where the relay comes in?

I actually cranked up the torssion bars to make it level but im going to leave at stock height. Does it make a huge deal if the rear is adjustable or is it just if its there or not?

So, I want to upgrade my suspension a little to give my 500 poines a place to go. I am going to put the hellwig adjustable sway bar out back, but i'm at a loss on the front. I know the factory is good but I see people say poly upgrqade. Any company sugestions? Or any suggestions on an oversized one with upgraded ends? Also, what company do most of you prefer as far as shocks? I know thats a super tough question sometimes because everyone has a preference but throw anything out there and i'll dig up some more info for myself.

Whats the 6HI mod? And what are the 120 leds? haha. also, anyone have a strong preference between 6000k, and 8000k, or even 10000k? i know they are different colors but what ones appear the clearest brightest white?

when you do that jump, do you have to do it by the relays or can you do it at the bcm?

thanks! does it plug right in to the factory harness? and does the ipod appear in the menue when you go through the sources via the steering wheel controls? those are the only two things i particularly care about

So I want to mount fog lights down in the scoops, anyone know what brand or style fit nice and clean? Also, im going to do the HID upgrade and want to know how to make it so you have all four when the High beams are on. I saw a post on how to but it kinda confused me, can anyone explain more? Also, there yellow driving lights piss me off. Anyone have and good conversions or way to make them bright and white like headlights?

I take it thats a hi-8? haha i cant really see the running lights but did you just jump the rekay for the driving lights like you do with fogs and stuff?
