I was searching for pics on this and found this thread. I just put a set of used white outlined letter tires on my truck. Just bought the truck and it was equipped with winter tires and I came by this set of used summer tires so I will run them for now. They are actually a little over size, 255/60X20.

That looks great. Will try to find that 3M stuff or similar. The spray tint would maybe not adhere so good to the hard glass surface. The shade of tint you have on the headlights and parklights would make the spotlights almost invisible behind the grille but hopefully still help visibility a little bit. Thanks for the info and pic. Thanks eeekroar, I like to keep it as original looking as possible. Of course, the easiest way would be to just get rid of the spot lights but they are really improving visibility when driving at night. What do you think about some kind of black out tint for lenses? Would it work?

I put the lights inside the grille instead. Will see if I keep them.

Yes, gas prices really sucks over here. I totally agree with you about the lights, already been thinking about the swap you are suggesting. Do you know if there is a thread about that on here, maybe there could be some tips on where to attach brakets and such. The lights are actually extra high beam lights, when I turn on the high beam the extra lights go on automatically. Thanks, Mats

The import laws has actually been getting better, there are several companys dealing with helping people to import cars and trucks or do the complete import for them. The only problem is the cost, shipping, tax, registration fees and so on Some parts are avaliable at special US parts stores but the prices use to be about the double compared to US prices. The option is to order direct from US, it is often the cheaper way. Gasprices are horrible, we pay around SEK15.00 for a liter which is like $9.00 for a gallon. A couple more pics fromyesterday with the SS beside my old 91 Silverado. I noticed the truck ismissing the SS emblem on the right side door so I will need a new emblem.

Hi from Sweden, Joined the forum yesterday. Do not have an SS truck yet but I will go and look at one on Thursday. If it is as nice as the seller claims I will buy it. It is a black 2003. He is the only owner here in Sweden, he went over to US and bought it in 2004. It is said to be very much original except for a bed cover and a new instrument cluster with black gauges, the original gauges failed and he bought a new complete gauge cluster and the only available in metric was with black gauge faces. If I buy it I will try to find white overlays for the gauges. I am in to American iron a lot and have always been since my first car in the late 70's. Currently I have a 91 Silverado 2500, 96 Impala SS, 80 Camaro Z28, 80 Camaro Sport Coupé, 71 Cheyenne Super C20. If I buy this SS the 91Silverado will probably go. Mats
