I know what he wanted to do but I won't steal his thunder. ;-) it was definitely different and would be a 1 of a kind for sure.

I will be calling this interested partys today as I got a few updates later last night from the current owners. Sorry for the delay guys.

Procharger on our LQ9's is like a Grenade waiting to happen. Lmao. It has 67k when I sold it. I'f I had to guess maybe 8-10k on the trans.
-
It also had the Vigilante 2800 stall also. If my memory serves me right.
-
It held it when I had the 2.3 whipple on it just fine. I also found out after the tune that my center console clips were loose. Because when it hit second it popped out. Ran really good. Btw it's was rare I ever ran my stuff hard.

17 hrs from you where is it at
I live in Baltimore Md. Where the truck has been since new/ I was the second owner/ I sold it the current owners. They flew into Baltimore did the transaction and drive it 17hrs away to Little Rock. That was almost 7 months ago.

That can be buffed out lol
Duct tape and a little spackle uhh......... I mean bondo!

What color is the interior, black or charcoal....
It was charcoal. I also wanted to note that the owners don't have anyway to disassemble the truck to sell parts. It would have to be bought outright. If somebody could buy it as a whole they could make $ off of it. I'm wondering if the 2,800 would be negotiable with the insurance co. I can make a phone call and find out?
-
Yes very hard! If I didn't have the projects I do I would buy it back and make another. It just sucks its 17 hrs west of me now and I can't take it back. I would do all the communication between whoever if somebody was interested. I don't like loosing any vehicles even if it isnt in my possession anymore.

Following may result in buying another SS! Haha oh what the heck and why not. ;-)

Can't see it on my iPhone but will diff check it out on computer when I get home, cause Chase is FAST.

Truck is in Little Rock Arkansas. I've been dealing with the father directly. If anybody is interested. Buy back from insurance is $2,800. Truck has around 75k on it and has a built level 4 finish line trans. And 05+ efans. Here's a few pics if any body is Interested. Figured I would post it and hopefully someone could use the good stuff from it? Interior, drivetrain ( I'm sure the rear is shot. Let me know 443.794.7598 thanks guys!

Talked to him this morning. It's too much work for him to dismantle and sell. He's just going through insurance. I would definitely pick up the drive train. He said it was wrecked in the rear so the front end should be fine. But probably twisted the frame if I had to guess. Supposed to send me pictures tomorrow. I'll post em when I get them.

and my innercooler?
Oh heck no. I had so many problems with the truck and trying to get things done with my schedule. Not bad problems just more "I have bad luck" problems. For some reason I have never had good luck with red vehicles. But as I was trying to sell it and the value of the trucks were going down I wound up demodding it and selling outright. Thanks guys! It still makes me ill whenever I sell something and it gets wrecked. I started a thread a long time ago on all my past vehicles and what happened to them after I sold them. Totaled, wrecked, or repossessed and or confiscated. So saaaaad.

Got a call from the young mans dad that bought my truck. Said he totaled it just this last week. Sad to here another one bites the dust. Had some good upgrades too including finish line built trans. Keep on the look out! I'm calling them today to make sure everything is ok with the kid. It sold about 8 months ago or so.

Thanks for the pics! How does it hold up to extended light exposure? May try it on my marine stuff?

Good looking red! Makes me miss mine! I just stopped in for a bit myself. Been busy here with work and house crap! + Plus the hotter it is the more $$$ i make! Nice numbers BTW! I can't see the idle vid?? Only the pics. Is that a tapatalk thing?

Figured i'd give a little update i'm sure alot here couldn't agree more with. Some have you know i went to the dark side for a little while and bought myself a oxford white 1 of 316 04' Cobra. After fighting with it and getting close to my power goal of 715rwhp which isn't really that hard to do with these cars and some Corn Sauce. I have decided to finish this build and return it to mostly stock and go back to my roots. Which is my first project i left abandoned. My 86' shortbed. I still have most of my LQ9 i'm saving for a 408 and plan to run Carburated or run a Lysholm twin screw on top and keep the fuel injection! Will it be the engine for this truck??? Hard to tell as I have a HEALTHY 454 that may be the ticket. Hard to say as this build is only talks until the cobra is gone. And it's red which in some of my other post/topics Red is not my best color as far as luck. But hopefully this truck will break the curse. And it is not a build that will be later sold. My father was the second owner back in the late 80's, sold it in early 90's (Which in his possession had many different engine swaps 305/327/350/427/396) in a matter of 5 years or so. And I found it sitting on the side of a house which was still owned by the person who bought it from my father back on 2005. bought it back for 1000 bucks. It's a truck that i will never sell. Even wrote never on the back of the title. But just a little update. And i'm really excited to get the cobra out and back on my previous builds.
