Had my buddy Ricky knock this guy out the other day... Just another piece to the sleeve. Pics don't do justice. It looks incredibly clean in person. Haha yes... The smokin blonde. She's big into fitness, has a beautiful body, and grew up on a drag strip. Her dad and his dad before him are car nuts. We've been having lots of fun together. She's motivating me to hurry and get my truck done. Think she's gonna ride shotgun to the Kool cruise with me if I get it done in time...

Soonest I can move is September/October timeframe. So I guess we'll see. Not really sure what my plans are. But God damn am I having fun being single. Met a smokin blonde at my new gym. We've been hangin quite a bit. Hahaha. Gotta get this ****in truck together and take her for a ride. Yeah. My headers looked like dog shit once I took the header wrap off... This chromex did wonders.

Yes. Absolutely. It's a little tricky, because truck intakes, including the truck style 2300, are in a position where most on need a 90 off the throttle body, then a straight tube to the airbox. In my case, the camaro blower sits so far forward, I'm actually gonna have to go a 120 off the throttle body, then like a 45 and a straight. This is still on my to-do list. I just got my headers back from being ceramic coated. They look awesome! So much better than that heat wrap. Chrome American racing headers will really compliment the engine bay. I'm a little behind on my updates, but I'll post some up this week.

Lol. Yeah. After I sent them I got an email from Fireborn customs. He was like "I could have done them". Lol. Little too late. Oh well. Least I know advanced is gonna do em up right. It's a little different. It's a highflow 2000hp filter with a check valve. 85801. Comes in lots of anodized colors. I recommend ordering it now. It's gonna take a month to get. Lol

Finally. Headers are being blasted today. Should be coated and ready for pick up by Monday. Only, theyre 5hrs away. Lol. Probably do a road trip that following weekend and pick em up.

My apartment is a oversized one car garage, with a 1 bedroom apartment above it. The upstairs is very open and with the girl recently moved out, my apartment is looking pretty bare. I'm doing a complete make over. Getting rid of the candles for a stack of performance magazines.. Ditching the "lovey dovey" wall quotes for bar signs and Chevy posters... And trading in the book shelves and plants for bar stools, a poker table that seats 8, and maybe a pool table. Haha. Also got a new couch, some rugs, and a 55" Samsung LED on the wall. Want to have a nice shop downstairs where I can tool on my truck and then go upstairs and relax. With that being said, and I know this is a long shot... But I'd like to buy some new decorations for the apartment. I've seen some awesome promotional LSX and SSS posters, as well as SS neon clocks and whatnot. Let me know what you've got and what you want for it. Or if you have a source/link to anything cool. Gotta get this place looking ( . )( . ) Thanks.

Do you have access to a MTS4000? It's a fantastic diagnostic tool for finding vibrations. It uses engine rpm as a reference point to compare the herts the vibration is occurring at to give you an idea of what it may be. You put a small crystal sensor that pics up vibrations somewhere on the frame. You program the tool with gear ratios, pulley sizes, tire sizes, etc. Then drive it until the vibration occurs. Take a recording and it'll tell you the herts of the vibration. There's a lot of math that goes into it to figure it out on paper, but the MTS4000 calculates the algorithm for you and essentially tells you what's causing the vibration. A alternator pulley, a driveline, a misfire, tires, etc. It's pretty sweet. I use it at the dealership when I get really stumped.

I've seen this before. Had a truck I would drive unloaded and itd be fine. Put a trailer on it and itd squat just enough to change the driveline angle and cause a vibration. The difference of the angle of the front and rear u joints should be no more than 1 degree of each other. Anything more will cause a vibration. Like said above, check for worn joints. But if it only happens when the suspension is loaded... Might be worth checking driveline angle. Are you stock ride height or lowered? Might be in need of a shim for the rear drive angle.

Haha thanks man. Appreciate it. Yeah... Life takes strange turns sometimes. We're happy and talking about marriage one day, and breaking it off the next. My lease ends in June. Not sure what my plans are.. The move was the girls idea.. But Im thinking about doing it anyway. Move and start a new life somewhere. I have a lot less shit to worry about moving now. Haha. I'll get going on that truck tomorrow. The weather is warming up quick and the snow is melting. Won't be long now.

Split with my girlfriend of 4 years yesterday.. In the process of getting her moved out. Sucks. Not really in the mood to work on the truck this weekend.. Did send my headers to wasilla to get coated with chromex. Will get pics up when I make some progress.
