Dumped the throttle leaving work for lunch, and at some point in second gear I heard a slam. Coasted to a stop and then started trying gears. I've got 1st and 2nd but they dont feel very strong and i also have reverse. 3rd and D feel like neutral. Guess the trans is coming back out.

Seal it? It came with a gasket, but would you run a black RTV or silicone too? Thanks for the input steve.

Yeah. No kidding.. I get no shop time to myself! It blows! I know a few of you guys are wanting to know more about this spacer before you order one up yourself. Im doing the best i can.

Well. Figured it out. Lol. A bearing was going in one of my 100mm idler pulleys. After X amount of revolutions, it hit a tough spot and bounce the tensioner pulley. Weird I know. But the noise was super loud in the idler when using a stethoscope. Remove the belt and the noise goes away. Spin the idler by hand and you can feel how gritty it is and how similar the tin can noise is when you spin it. So new bearings and I'm good.

Yeah man. I CAN'T WAIT to see this. You've always done such great work and I love those rims. I've been keeping an eye out for a set with no luck.

BUT, ya never know. Sometimes it looks good on paper, but things don't always work out.

Instaling my radix spacer, 102mm TB, installed the trick reservoir, 28inch tires, a mean race tune from zippy.. We'll see what happens. Krambo and zippy said low 12s should be fairly easy with my current set up, and that I should be knocking on the 11s here before too long with the rest of the upcoming mods.

Ill definitely let everyone know when Justin and I are heading down. Id like to meet everyone and check out your trucks. I just realized something funny. All of our SSs are Arrival blue except Justins (Fairbanks Justin). Lol. I thought blue was the rare color? Not black. Haha. But yeah. It'll be a great time.

Well, its not really anyones fault. Just sucks. The accumulator pistons and reverse input drum had to be ordered. They had everything else in stock. It all ships out tomorrow afternoon. So it'll be 2more weeks before my trucks on the road. Its STILL snowing here anyways. So i guess im in no hurry. Haha i just thought it was funny that PI had to make my converter from scratch and it arrived a week ago. PATC just had to take parts off the shelf, put them in a box, and ship it out. Haha.

And for what i spent, i could have gone WAY bigger than just a supercharged 370. But its what i wanted. And now ive got the trans to put up with anything i plan on running in the future. Whether it be a TVS 408 or 427. If anything, throw a billet input and ouput shaft into my trans and ill be good up to 850hp/850tq. ;)

Hahahaha well its a disease. I fell in love with these trucks a few years ago, finally got one for myself, and i cant stop until its exactly how i want it. There is end in sight, but i can easily think of another 6k in parts id like to throw on my truck before she's done. Including what the truck cost, i guess ive got around $32,000 into it, give or take...
