Wondering what it all takes to put a 4l80 in my awd 05 to 2wd. Wondering how coolant hoses wiring mounting all that will go before I buy one and try to put it in. If any one has the info I would love to hear it. Dont want to hear its a waste of $ by everyone. I want 2wd and going to beef up tranny before it goes in. Only going to push max 600 eventually but 500hp for now. Dont have alot of time to tinker with it so seeing if someone knows what im going to be getting into. And I know it has to be tuned

Finally got me email back from mcgaughys after I post this of course. What I need is a pinnion shim that goes between the flip kit and leaf. Guess ill try it out and see what happens. Sucks going slow and looking good now. And you were right about the pinnion angle

Dont know if I have an odd ball drivetrain but I have 1 solid rear aluminum driveshaft, no carrier bearing

After doing some research I seen people say they had to shim it. But its the first time I have dropped anything and had no clue what to get. Thought u just did a flip and done

Finally dropped my awd sss. Did djm arms and a mcguaghys rearend flip and c notch. Had to drive 70 miles so I could get it aligned with my 26 inch rims and of course it was out of alignment and vibrated on the way. Alignment is done now all at 0.low degree except caster which is maxed out. Now the rearend vibrates really bad between 55 to 70 and was wondering if anyon else has had this problem and what I needed to do. Thanks

Going with mcguaghys spindle flip n notch or djm with arms not sure yet. Old lady is driving it and now but says its too bumpy lol and drop is not even bought yet but will be this weekend. Been looking and cant find (good) shocks that are rated for a 4/6. Want to order everything this weekend so let me know what u got and like with your drop please

Got the driveshaf out the seal came out half way and has seemed to stop. Been trying to pry on it for an hour now but seems to just be tearing it apart. Anyone know why it won't come out did some research online and everyone says there's just slides out, but of course mine won't

Well finally found part number it is 710495 by timken and a few others if anyone else needs it. Going to bed now and guess I'll tackle the task of changing it tomorrow. Hopefully it wIll not be to bad but if anyone else has done it let me know before I start

Truck started leaking from transfer case right where the front drive line goes in after driving down a muddy road. Wondering if anyone knew the part # and how much work it is to do myself. Took it in last week to get fixed and they had not even looked at it or ordered a part yet so guess I'm doing it myself. I can't find a seal online that I need and do not really know what I need since I'm working my 28 days right now so any info on it would be great thanks.

thats also a 2/2 drop on 305s front tires miss the bumper by a 1/4" and barely rub the finder well while turning, but protect pretty good against curbs with the 305s, also thinking about powdercoating them black gloss, what does everyone else think? and thanks for the opinions

Traded my stocks for these, my tires 30% these about 80 shitty brand but holding up after 5000 miles, think it was a good trade? Still have the option of trading back just seeing what other sss owners think. There 22" u2 rims

@ zack im buying a house next to austin for the family, i dont get to stay there much since i work 28 days straight in midland, but 2 weeks of every 4 are nice. and as far as a cam looking for more low end power and the goal is a supercharger by the end of the year, still debating to spend 4k or 7k$ for one
