After reading my post I noticed I kinda came off as a dick. Didn't mean to sound that way just know that truck was in great shape last time I was around it. I see tom from time to time and he will be happy to know someone else has it and is taking good care of it cause he was bummed when he found out how that hitch kid was treating it.

Take care of that truck! Tom had the nicest blue Silvy I had ever personally seen and the kid you bought it from didn't appreciate it at all. Tom did a ton of GOOD work to it and kept it immaculate I know tom and have been in that truck before. Nice cruiser, quick but not stupid fast and super reliable and clean. Never saw a winter till the other guy bought it.

Hey blueawdss, I've never seen you around before. Ever cruise anywhere? There's a good group of Silverado SS and TBSS guys around here. We usually meet at Woodward and 13 at night on the weekends in the north wood shopping center parking lot. Just saying if your interested it's always good to meet another Silvy SS.

Nope wasn't that one, real young kid driving it actually ran into him on Saturday after I posted down on Woodward racing. It's super clean dis a real nice job on it. Said he just started working on it over the winter. Needs a lowered stance and a motor swap but was impressed with the work.

Don't see many real SS trucks around here anymore, but you never see well done clones. Beautiful Arrival blue RCSB near Waterford, MI drove past me in my daily driver if your on here I'd love to see it up close thing was bad ass!

Already have the trans back In the truck. Just put a new stock convertor in. It runs really good and is still some what fuel efficient and street able which is what I wanted just didn't know if I should send my PCM to you for any retuning.

Not at the moment, staying with the stock convertor for now.

Yeah I talked to the trans shop and found that out, thanks for the info.

So I decided to have a reputable local shop do an overhaul on the trans all the valve body upgrades and some other internals to beef up what I can while i can since it needs work now anyways. I'm wondering if they could change things like line pressure for these upgrades or should I still plan on sending my PCM to zippy for a retune after the works done.

Last maintenance was 30,000 ago flush new fluid and filter. No recent mods and no warning signs something was going wrong slowly either. Was out running it Monday night stopped at an intersection and it just started happening. Hit it hard a 3-4 times from a roll before it happened.

Hey guys, when I shift from 1st to 2nd my rpm's hit about 3500. Once it shifts into 2nd everything else runs fine up shifts into other gears like normal and down shifts with no issues. If Im in first and let my foot off the gas between 2500-3000 rpm the trans will up shift to 2nd and I can give it gas again. Any ideas on what's sticking or broke? I was thinking the 1-2 accumulator spring but would like some other opinions. Thanks

Probably didn't hurt that it was a little cold out giving me the advantage of more boost and better traction with the AWD. I'm sure he spun a little.

Went cruising Saturday night with my wife and another couple (all of us in the silvy,) happened to pull up to a challenger srt, charger srt, and a fire bird at a light. It was a beautiful thing. They all started Reving there engines to each other and acting cool so I just waited. Then all I saw was their faces turn ghost white as I uncorked the truck and then all their headlights in my rear view when the light turned green. Pulled up the the next light and the kid driving the challenger said he had a friend he wanted me to run. We go down the street and park next to a lightning. Dude instantly starts running his mouth about me not even being a race cause he beats SS trucks all the time. I just kept quiet and after some subtle persuasion he accepts and we roll out and find a red light. Light turned green and I walked the kid by about 3-4 lengths to the next light. He wouldn't pull up next to me after that then cut down a side street and disappeared for the rest of the night. Couldn't help but laugh about it for the rest of the time we were out cruising.

Im doing the transgo hd2 shift kit and Bette servo upgrades wondering if I need a retune on the PCM after? Not doing a stall upgrade or anything else major.

Good to know, you should tell people that in your opening post to stop any issues, I'd be pissed if I bought it thinking they were included and were not.

Do you have the end caps that go on the bed rails to match up the spoiler? Looks a little bulky and out of place without them.

Injectors still for sale don't know the exact HP tainting on them but was running a mild cam and a 5-6 pounds of boost on a P1-sc with no issues
