  1. Hey Tricia, I brought it into the dealership today and have to come back again tommorow. Their saying im going to have to do a ride along with a tech and then if they have to do a tear down of the transmission im looking at $500 or more. I dont know how to contact someone privatly yet but ill keep looking to see if i can
  2. Hey guys Got an Issue and not sure where to post it and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Looked up TSB's and everything and theres nothing to find. After medium distance drives (20-30mins) on regular roads under normal conditions my accelorator pedal will vibrate and hum. After stopping at a stop light it stops then starts again after a short while of driving. Not sure if its the pedel return spring or if its part of the electrical. Bringing it in on monday to the dealership to try and show them. If anyone has and infoprmation it would be greatly appreciated. Take care and thanks for all the help!
  3. lol thanks for the tips I'm going to that tech school right now about to finish a service writing class (yipiee! >.<) Thanks for the tips i plan on sinking everything i have into this truck, it WILL be a beast and it WILL destroy anything in its path no matter the cost. Being medically retired has its benefits i just have to find a good custom shop around here. I'm currently looking at Project X Customs (www.projectxcustoms.com) and talking with the people on the phone and looking at some of their work along with BBB reports/ratings I'm looking forward to working with them. Once i get home it will be a lot easier since my uncle has a garage with lift cherry picker machine tools and the such and i have my brother out there who has been machining for a bit. As far as the thanks for my service I appreciate it and thank you for paying your taxes ;) I look forward to getting down to business next month on this beast of a machine and cant wait to navigate the forums and figure out what the heck I'm doing.
  4. Hey, My names Drew Stegehuis and I just traded in my 2010 Cobalt for a 2003 Silverado SS and want to know what i can/need to do for customizing it (engine). I want more HP, mainly to woop my buddys Ford Lightning that runs 12.4 in the 1/4 as of right now. He says I'll never do it and im hoping chatting and help from you guys will help me prove him wrong. Im currently enrolled at UTi (Universal Technical Institute). Im a medically retired veteran. I was in the Army for 4 years as an Infantryman. I was stationed at Schofeild Barracks HI and deployed 07-09. January 28th 2008 I was hit by an IED which caused a TBI (traumatic Brain Injury) and made me blind and deaf on my right side. I hope ya'll can help me get this SS up and above this Lightning!
