Best advice I could tell you from here to rule out the trans is take off normally and count gears. I did a test earlier on my own truck and from 2nd to 3rd it drops to about 3800 to 3900. So you could be correct. Resident Taxi Driver

S10 also is on a full 3/4. It is a 4.3 5 speed truck. Currently gathering parts to do a ls? Swap. Just have to find a motor/tranny and get a harness. Have everything else to do it:rolleyes: Resident Taxi Driver

Agreed with the whole arguing. Its like people I own a SS and I went out of my way to get one and researched. I guess its because Chevy has really gone away from its roots for the SS namebadge. I mean they stuck them on practically base model cobalts and it was just a trim. Gay if you ask me. I am also into S10 and old school Turbododges and I get people arguing with me that my Turbododges are junk mitsu motors. Uhh no they are about as american as they get. How many people do not know what are trucks are. I am up at local car show and I have had a dozen people ask me does it really have a 6.0 and is it really a SS. I have never seen one. Wow just wow. On the upside though I am getting a lot of looks from the lightning crowd. Resident Taxi Driver

I would have to agree with pork on this one. 20% is too dark for a windshield. I have done tint as a job professionally and me personally had a 2000 volvo s70. I had the rears double limo (2 layers 3%) the front sides limo and the the windshild 35% with a 8 inch strip of limo. I did 20% on the front windshield on that car for about a week before I took it off. It was to dark. And I had the best tint on the market at the time on the car. It was Solargard HP series. But its your truck if you say you can see out of it then you can see. But as stated don't ever get involved in a accident with it. You will be at automatic fault. Sounds to me like they didn't rebuild it correctly. Differentials have to be clearanced and torqued almsot perfectly. If procedures are not followed usually you will have some sort of issue. Sent from my SCH-I405 using Tapatalk 2
