Looking at different mufflers, Cant make up my mind !!! So I was wondering if anyone was running GMPP mufflers, What do they sound like, to loud, not loud enough, drone, ect... You can get a new bumper cover from gm parts direct for 298.00 and everything else you will need also !!!

Two people posted the other day I think a 05 and a 06 with Silver wheels and they both bought the trucks new so I was going on that fact !!!But if I am wrong I stand corrected !!!

I would say no, But i would say two wheel packages were offered all years: Silver or Chrome::: Which wheels do you have ? Thats how many have your wheels: But I am only guessing at that...

Ok I copied VIN's from trucks on cars.com and this is what I came up with !!! 2003 vtv [unknown]= 10068 {and that # matches up with other RPO's that would be part of our trucks in all years !!!} 1SS======== 9357 2004 vtv [unknown]= 5098 1SS======== 4932 2005 vtv [unknown]= 2627 1SS=========2514 2006 vtv [unknown]= 2740 1SS=========2708 2007 vtv [unknown]= 189 1SS=========183 ' So there is a ballpark of each year !!! Hope this helps someone !!!

Anyone else done their 2004 and if so how many for the 1SS package ? My said 4932 so I wonder if this is how many SS were made in 2004.

I did the web site thing and posted a highlights of the findings for my truck on the other thread, And was cool to see all the #'s for this and that !!!do the web site it will tell you how many 2005 were AWD and you can go from there.

I love it now !!! But needs some more power !!! Its my DD so I cant go crazy with it but a little more will be good !!!Going to take it to the strip this spring to get a base line and go from there, But with my hand held stopwatch and a 1/4 mile marked off I am averaging mid 14's but I know my hand is not to accurate and the dragstrip will tell the truth !!! But I am keeping up with cars I should not be keeping up with !!!

And of the 4932 1SS's only 3651 got P30 wheels !!! So how many SSS are like mine ? I still don't know but the site was informing !!!

Someone asked about production #'s earlier this week, So i thought I would post this and hope others could fill in the blanks.

"In 2003, the production #'s were: 6,117 Black 2,802 Red 1,103 Blue Making a total of 10,022 Silverado SS's. Final production numbers for the 2004 Model Year of Silverado SS 5098 Trucks with no color breakdown: Has anyone over the years updated the production # ? 2004 Color break down ? 2005- ? 2006- ? 2007- ? Maybe the Chevy Rep that chimes in from time to time could answer these questions. Also It would be nice if something like this post was a sticky, So new to the "Order of the SSS" owners could have this info !!!

Thanks Jason, now I just have to save some $ for my Headers, exhaust, a tune and maybe a stall. To try to catch up to some of the SSS here !!!
