I don't really like it I got it in my Cadillac. Say I'm pulling out of my driveway by the way is on a corner and last second i see a car and step on it then the tires slip and kills power to the engine and bam you just got hit that's why I shut it off in snow and rain so I can get out of my own way it's got it's perks but me i just don't like it

great point sounds like somebody's dealership didn't protect there privacy rights just like doctors can't give someone else's test resultsHow did the other person that bought it get your info? The dealer shouldn't give that out.

I don't think it had come out yet but if you want to shut it off hold traction control button for 30 seconds it will shut off both for when you wanna have some fun

Yeah I know what ya mean but something to look into for the future it says it catches about 8oz's every 3000 miles all I could think of is one of those little trolls with the funny hair do holding a quart of oil laughing at me dumping oil right into the intake coating intake valves pistons exhaust valves and then bam right on the cats to harden like a rock the guy that was talking about answered the question why didn't chevy put it on at the factory and he answered cause nobody would empty it all I could think of is those people that go to jiffy lube great answer elite engineering looked to me as the best for our application

While your at it check out a oil catch can for the pcv valve I just ordered one from elite engineering it might help prolong those new cats it can't hurt It describes its function on there site and looks cool as hell while doing its job at the same time I got one for a 2004 zo6 engine but it will work for ours I never knew oil entered into the engine until a couple of guys on here were talking about it then looked it up

Yeah I only drive about 10 miles a day to work so it not a big deal to me but yeah I hear ya if it was more I might go a different direction it's gotta work for you and only you will know what ya want

Forget the carfax even if you blow the engine up after beating on it throw a 2004 zo6 salvage engine in it and hold on check the front fender bolts to see if the front end has been swapped out if the bolt look untouched as the bolt and washers are still in the same place as the factory with no paint wear around the washers then you should be good if there is then there could be frame damage not good think of it like this it a body and parts are every where

I got the cats hollowed out with the rot master mufflers now but I'm looking at getting the arh long tubes with the cats and turn the o2's back on with magna flow mufflers dumping out before passengers rear tire like the lightnings exhaust it's loud now sounds like NASCAR start your engines

Wanna be a balla shot caller 20" blades on the impala. that song was the sh*t the funniest thing was in New England we didn't know what Lil Troy was talking about we just knew we liked impalas and the beat was hot. I'm still not sure i would've put those rims on ether though

I would keep it looks like a nice truck. ill die before I sell mine payed in full. these days you gotta sell an arm and leg to pay a vehicle off let alone the dealerships are pricing them selves out of business. With a site like this you'll aways be able to figure out what's wrong with your truck can you say that about your next car probably not
