If you get sick of the rasp you could always get some high flow cats or resonators to help get rid of the rasp

You can't get upper ball joints from the dealer without getting the upper control arm and after getting ac delco ball joints from rock auto and using the energy bushings in the control arms I wish I got the new arm with stock bushings there almost 2 years old and seem like they need to be done again I think there's a good reason gm does that so that's the route I'm going next time those upper bushings take a lot of abuse I'd also get new bolts for that upper control arm they also looked terrible when I pulled them out

That cover brandnew is only 12-15 bucks at the dealer had to replace the fuse box mount and side cover they were cheap

Yes you use the trailblazer ss air bag and remove the emblem and there was one with the silverado SS font that replaced the trailblazer SS one

Anybody ever run there return to the knock sensor plate under the intake or does it need to be lower to return to the oil pan faster

We were talking about not using RTV The Honda bond we were talking about using is probably the same as GM gasket maker without the gm price

I really don't know if there's a gasket for that application or if people get lazy and use the RTV to rush the repair I'm just saying I would use that honda bond over RTV after using it you won't have any leaks that's for sure id also scuff the cases a little to help it to bond better to the metal

After using some honda bond case sealer when I rebuilt my R1 motor and also used it when I rebuilt my srx 700 motor I'd use that over rtv it's made to seal engine cases and takes a lot of heat abuse those motors don't use gaskets that is how they seal the stuff works great I just sqeeze it on my finger and spread a decent amount where you need it a little gos a long way

When my guy rebuilt my transfer case he found RTV on the pump pickup screen I'm not sure what he used when putting it back together he might have used a gasket but he called me into the shop to show me like it wasn't normal he also added the case saver in it even though there wasn't any wear but always good to put some protection in there while your in it

the picture is on post #12 there was 2 gasket that were shipped with my transmission that I was using as an example for Doughty08 to look at to see if that was what he was talking about I do get confused but not this time
