X3. The only thing that has started bugging me lately is the 4 speed. I'm used to more cogs in some of the other cars I have. The huge step between gears can get a little tiring but still don't want a new 60K truck payment. Some of the "tech" can be added, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to put a rear camera in and a blue tooth. The latter is not that critical a I don't talk on the phone much in the truck and I don't want an aftermarket radio... I hate the way they look.
True.. some tech it's not all there but I still like the looks I get when I'm rolling on mine down the highway and compliments from the other guys driving newer trucks

These truck have aged very well but the fact is that tech and standard features, as well as power and economy, have left these trucks in the past. They are still cooler and more rare than anything else out there. Mine ain't going anywhere.

Ditch the wheels and the system! Extra weight lol

I also have been ISO an OEM wing but no luck yet.... but if these are better quality than the fiberglass and if anyone has any experience with one of these please let us know.. id probably go this route if they're better than fiberglass one..
-
I can't remember in which forum I saw a thread about these wings but they said they weren't the best quality out there.... if I remember right a guy bought one and he wasn't very happy with it that he ended up returning it and going with a fiberglass wing instead.. like I said I can't remember where nor I have had an experience with these polyurethane wings....so who knows

Never seen an ISS with a bench seat. You can tell it was a cloth truck as it has after market leather...
I think you're right the tone of the leather on the headrests is a bit darker than the rest of the seats

Dang!!! Hopefully mine lasts that long!!!

I know there are a couple plastic fasteners and also screws.. if you can't find the fasteners a couple screws will do the trickDoes anyone know what clips are used to hold the cladding in? I noticed my drive side one is missing two of the clips/fasteners. I just can't seem to located which ones to buy to replace them.
-
Too much for an ISS in my opinion, realistically you're probably looking at 15-16k
Probably because of the "extra" chromed touches and grille lol
-
Another one.......in DFW. 85,000 miles and under 20k. Looks like it needs some chrome removal, but otherwise a clean looking truck that includes the COA!
It is also listed on eBay

I have one on mine... but mine looks like it was painted I don't think it's factory compared to the one on my 90s c1500 that one is factory
-
I just put some msds on mine about a month ago I just put them on without the heatshields and they seem fine as long as there's no contact with headers/ manifolds
-
Really nice truck I like it ?
-
I know in south TX that's the trick for thieves to steal the emblems and also de SS wings that are not screwed onGuess that's why its so easy for people to steal cladding off the trucks. There's two arrival blue I've seen in my town and one has both front door cladding gone, and the other just one side... :/

This is where fishing line comes in handy... remove bottom screws and plastic rivets and upper double sided tape and that's it..

RCSB = regular cab short bedoh and what the hell is a RCSB can someone fill me in on all these trendy abbreviation's you guys are using these days...im a simple man that describes a truck by what year make and model it is lol

Thinking about picking up a bigger intake and throttle body for my truck... any suggestions anyone??? Truck is fbos n/a was thinking of going 90mm + intake and tb but wanting suggestions on set ups
-
What I was saying earlier, in simpler terms: if you want it to keep running reliably, stick with the OEM's.
I definitely want that! And yeah I'll just keep my OEM ones and just replace wires, plugs and filters thanks!!

to be honest i dont think ive seen a truck on this website run aftermarket coils. the 2 fastest trucks on this website ran stock coils into the upper 10s i ran them all day long on my old boost setup in the low 12s for 7 years. i would put that money into something different imo
Same thing I'm thinking I just wanted to hear some input from you guys I guess I'll just do a regular tune up
-
if your truck is stock you wont see any difference in aftermarket coils.
I got 228 cam, headers, cai, exhaust, custom tune, built tranny..
