  1. Thanks for the heads up. If things fall through with mine getting made, I will for sure buy one from you (just the emblem)
  2. I paid for mine ($25.00 shipped) and he said it should be done next week. When I get it and install it, I'll take a few pictures.
  3. There are interior guys out there that repair leather seats. I know several in my area that are fantastic at repairing them. They can fix cigarette burns, leather cracks, fading....all of that. You might check with some local dealers to see if they have any guys that come and do work at their lots.
  4. I thought about that too, if it wasn't tuned for it, it would make it throw a code. I'll see if I can get ahold of the previous owner and ask him if it was tuned for it. If not....I guess I'll put the stock stat back in
  5. Pretty sure he put in a lower temp stat, I'll check. Fluid level looks good, heats up good as well
  6. I just bought this truck last week. On the interstate, if I give it much gas, the truck will automatically throw a P0128 code "Coolant Temps Below Thermostat Operating Temp". If I drive it normally, not giving it much gas, it's fine. The guy I bought it off of did install a hypertech thermostat. I can clear the code no problem with my aeroforce gauges. Will it hurt anything? Why would it be throwing this code?
  7. If you have the TBSS airbag, they will work. They simply stick on and go over the TBSS logo.
  8. Kinda rambling here but man.....I did a search on youtube and heard an SS with the Banks "Monster" exhaust....and it sounds great! Wish there was a way to buy one of the banks monster mufflers and make it work with the factory exhaust!
  9. Anyone had any experience with "Pypes" race mufflers? http://www.jegs.com/i/PYPES/958/MVR100S/10002/-1 Heard some video's online of the pypes violator mufflers....sounded pretty good, wonder how the di/do would sound...
  10. Getting one custom made through motorcityvinyl.com Costing $25.00 to make one for me. If anyone else is interested, let me know, I can get you the contact info.
  11. If they can make it fit, I'll probably just go that route, just hope it's loud enough, haven't heard to many thing about the BORLA 400286 - Pro XS
  12. You guys are looking at the Trailblazer SS Logo's not with Silverado SS Logo's. They are different. :
  13. But with 2.5" in and out.....it won't fit with the 2.75" stock exhaust. Wouldn't I need to get atleast a 3" in and out for a muffler shop to weld it up?
  14. Thanks for all of the great info guys! So...if I want louder, the better set up would be a single 3" dual in/dual out muffler instead of two 3" single in/single out mufflers? The only di/do borla I found is 2.25 in and out, which won't work with the stock exhaust. What would be the next best loudest, good flowing muffler available since I can't get a single di/do Borla muffler? Gibson? Magnaflow?
  15. I have the TBSS airbag, the SS's are a different font than the SS's for the Silverado's
  16. The airbag itself is from a trailblazer ss (like the one I just installed) but the "SS's" are different on the TBSS airbags. The SS badge I'm looking for has the Silverado SS font like pictured
  17. I did a search and found some really cool custom SS airbag emblems with the Trailblazer SS airbag. Here is a picture of what I'm looking for: Any info on where to get these? or if they are still available?
  18. I want it as loud as possible, but I don't want to hurt performance/torque. But...I want an actually tone instead of a straight pipe sound or anything like that. I did a search and it seems like the borla's (not sure what models) are supposed to sound pretty nasty.
  19. You think it would be pretty loud with the 2 borla's?
  20. Couldn't I have the stock muffler cut off and have 2 of these welded in? (and still keep my factory "Y" and tip)?
  21. Is it true the 18" is a little louder than the 22"?
