Here's another great job by Chase! I always love these jobs. This is the wife, of the client I did the Cayman for. GREAT people, and they've seen what my hands can do. This is her daily driver, and I think they'll order up a polishing package in the summer, but for now it was just a wash, clay, sealant, interior job. I'm always very grateful for return clients like this, and furthering our relationship. I went to the client's house for this one, here's how things went down: Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner, Wheel Woolies, Boar's Hair brush, & New Lugnut Brush on wheels Adam's All Purpose Cleaner& Fender Brushon tires & wheel wells Adam's All Purpose Cleaner & Fender Brush to clean floormats Adam's All Purpose Cleaner, Wheel Woolies, & Boar's Hair Brush to clean the engine bay Blow dry engine bay with MetroVac Sidekick & one of my "dirty job" towels Full two bucket wash with Adam's Firehose Nozzle & shutoff valve, Adam's Jumbo Wash pads, & Adam's Car Wash Shampoo Dress wheeel wells with Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray Adam's Clay Bar, Adam's Detail Spray, & Adam's Great White Drying Towel to decontaminate the surface Blow dry cracks & crevices with MetroVac Sidekick 70/30 Alcohol wipedown with Adam's Singlesoft Microfiber Towel Adam's Quick Sealant Comboto protect this baby Nourish engine bay, tires, & all exterior plastics with Adam's SVRT, Adam's In/out Spray, and a Block Sponge Vacuum interior with my Shop Vac Dust dash with small brushes, Adam's Detail Spray & "dirty job" towel Scrub seats and door areas with Adam's Leather/Interior Cleaner, Adam's Horsehair Interior Brush, & one of my "dirty job" towels Nourish seats & door areas with Adam's Leather Conditioner Clean interior & exterior glass with Adam's Glass Cleaner & towel Dress roof rack with Adam's SVRT On to the pics baby! Arriving on the scene: Lettin' the DWC & APC get right down to work: Engine bay before: Washed & Blow dry: Always check this area during a wash. The lugnut brush is used for MANY other areas than just lugs: All done washing: Ready for a pool rinse, let the car help dry itself: Hittin' those fender wells before moving forward, in case any overspray gets on the car, I have a few steps after, to remove it. I don't dry the car beforehand, when I clay. Any water left on the car after rinsing (ALWAYS DO THIS IN THE SHADE OR GARAGE) acts as lubricant for when I clay, and then I use the Great White Drying Towel to absorb what's left behind. I took this pic, so you can see all the dirt and junk left behind, EVEN AFTER a wash, absorbed into the towel. This is after just the roof. I always like to dress all areas with SVRT & In/Out Spray BEFORE I apply my LSP or do my IPA wipedown, because I'll remove any accidental messy areas, in the steps to come. Here's another job completed by our man Chase. This client just bought this truck and contacted me to get it "proper", via one of my good friends referring him! It's always nice when you have friends backing you up! The client knew it was a low-mileage, well-kept truck, but he was also aware that the previous owner had no clue how to care for the paint, so he was honest about the swirls.....but after getting under critical lighting, they were worse than anticipated. I knew this would be a 2-day project for sure!! Truck had 62k miles on it, truck arrived very clean, here was my plan of attack: Adam's All Purpose Cleaner, Boar's Hair Brush, and Wheel Woolies to clean engine bay Rinse & blow dry engine bay with Metro Vac Sidekick Wash tires & fender wells with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner & Adam's Fender Brush Clean wheels with Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner, New Lugnut Brush, & Turbo Stick Use Adam's Waterless Wash & Waterless Wash towels on rest of truck Adam's Clay Bar, Detail Spray, & Adam's Single Soft towelson entire truck Compounding done with another brand & microfiber pad (took anywhere from 4-8 passes, per body panel) Tools used - Flex PE14-2, Flex 3401, Metabo 4" One pass of Adam's Fine Machine Polish & 4th gen White pad Alcohol wipedown entire truck Coat entire truck with Adam's Quick Sealant Bumper, middle hood & roof, & tailgate got a 2nd coat of Adam's Quick Sealant Rest of truck that was "non-striped" got topped off with Adam's Americana Paste Wax Nourish entire engine bay, wiper cowl, tires, and mirror housings with Adam's SVRT & Adam's In/Out Spray Clean interior & exterior windows with Adam's Glass Cleaner & Adam's Glass Cleaner Towel Interior was super clean, but still got love from Adam's Leather/Interior Cleaner, and then nourished with Adam's Leather Conditioner Fender wells got dressed with Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray Sealant & wax removed with Adam's Double Soft Towels I wanted to hit the trim with APC & SVRT, but simply, just ran out of time!!! Polishing this beast took forever!!! We also removed the windshield decal, removed the window vent visors, and debadged the "Ram" portion of the logos on the doors. On to the pics, here's she is upon arrival: Got the wheels cleaned up....gawd I LOVE this tool.... Here's the paint after wash & clay, toooons of defects, heavy marring, horrific swirling... Got all the adhesive & residue off from behind the Ram emblems (these were the hardest I've EVER encountered), all that's left after this point, is to polish. But a picture like this might make most people "freak out" lol. Here's some 50/50 shots during polishing: Had to call in my buddy Vince for a couple hours JUST to get caught up. With the fyasko of the incredibly stubborn debadging, and the intense level of swirls in this paint, I was running behind. He took care of wheels, tires, undercarriage, and used the Metabo 4" to get in all the small areas. This way I could just focus on the big panels. Started seeing some redemption... Got my favorite rubber/plastic nourishment out, and went to town! Loved on the glass with this streak-free combo: Gave the door jambs plenty of "sexy" with Adam's Detail Spray and one of my "dirty job" towels: After pics of the finessed interior: Gave this girl some SOLID protection and PLENTY of wet shine with this stellar combo! And here's how she came out!! Disclaimer: We're very aware of the slight discoloration in the paint when the emblems were removed.
