It may just be 'fine', but it's not 'good' per say. Here's my buddies 03.he was doing full 06 swap and had the grille on just for test fitting. So 06 grille with 03 hood.. You can see how much more the 06 hood is supposed to come down and the different angles
Flip that around to a 03 grille with 06 hood, looks fine from afar
Yet up front & close..
It doesn't match up perfectly. To some that might be okay.. But that would bug the shit out of me lol

To be clear, there's nothing HD about the 06-07 grilles/hoods. Every Silverado those years had the same one. Only 'difference' is 05 HD's had that setup a year before the 1500s.
Also, please do not mix up a 03-05 grille with 06-07 hood. It's janky, especially if you do the other way around the lines just don't match up in the front

EBay. Just seal the edges before you install them as a safeguard and you'll be golden

Sounds superb! How's your bed doing with running a bedrug without a cover? I hated how the rug stayed wet and held moisture underneath when soaked. Afraid it'd help promote rust in my already shitty NJ conditions so I got a cover a few weeks after

Tonnopro lowroll. It's what I have, was super cheap, $270 brand new with 10yr warranty. Between the rails, low pro design, single release latch, roll up. Let's see if I can find pics

I like it, leave off imo. Just don't step on the painted part with dirty shoes. It's not a big deal to raise the leg up another 4 inches to reach the other bumper pad lol

Check your coolant level. I had a similar problem, except opposite (cold @ aggressive, hot @ leisurely) and found I had a leak

It's usually a bad wheel speed sensor, which is involved in the hub/wiring. It happened on my Sierra and I kept trying to get around for a few months, but it got sketchy because I never knew if I was going to be able to stop, or have my pedal some back at me and give me a heart attack every time loll if it's pulsing, it's worth it just to buy 2 new Timken hubs off RockAuto for about $210

Thanks! I'll have to look for that bolt hole along the little bumper lip. Your bracket looks a little skinnier than others I've seen. Does it hold up strong still?

Awesome thanks! The few different ones I've seen, some were straight brackets and some were bent at both ends. I guess it's just whatever works?

To just remove the paint you could either sand blast or use aircraft Stripper. I used that to remove clearcoat off my old wheels. It's some nasty stuff
