  1. i believe theyre 2.5..because actually i ordered a 3" in y-pipe (magnaflow 10798), thinking stock piped were 2.75 and it was too big. had to run to the store and get reducers.in the first pic you can see stock pipe, reducer, y pipe, then 3-3.5 reducer for the muffler. its not the prettiest but no one can see it lol

i personally love my Aero. between the bigger 3.5" size and 6.0, its a nice and throaty at idle & cruising. mean af at WOT. it is a little loud while accelerating but that is also cause the turndown exit is facing the ground right behind the passenger cab. the drone calms down once maintaining speed. my music drowns it out anyway usually so to me its not bad at all

only other video i ever took with the exhaust. merging

  2. instead of doing two mufflers, then a y-pipe into single tailpipe..why not just do a y-pipe before the muffler, then run single muffler and single tailpipe. thats what i did.

magnaflow y pipe (got wrong size OD and needed that extra reducer lol :slap: ), Aero Turbine 3535XL muffler, then 3.5" turndown before the axle. excuse the pics, they were two years ago in the middle of winter lol

  3. revival question! looking to do the tahoe 13" front upgrade. i replaced my hoses last year with braided hoses on my stock brake set up. i assume the hoses would still fit the 07 tahoe calipers, but would like a confirmation on that

also, will you be able to return your stock silverado caliper as a core for the tahoes?

  4. Selling the extra cup holder insert with the ash tray insert together. Great condition. Fits any regular 03-07 console, not Denali & esky.

Was unsure of the worth of these. EBay has the ashtray going for 10 and cup holder for 40. I'll start with both for $35 shipped

    Price: $35 shipped - lower 48

    Location: Tuckerton, NJ

  5. Post pics! But Ya know, I couldn't get that small 194 plug to fit into the oem socket at all when I installed at night time so I just taped them both off

A buddy ordered them and managed to jam his in but said it barely squeezed in. It didn't affect anything so I didn't care lol

Seems there's only the reflectors, just as the sierra tails are. They don't have side bulbs either.

  6. they do look awesome! if youre interested in the '14 sierra reps go with chrome or machined imo.having a wheel with the sprocket type design in black just blends it all together and kills the look

im about to get a set of them '14 reps real soon

  7. Tinted today. Used this film. 16" X 48" was enough for all three lights and a little bit leftover

Just used IPA wipedown, heat gun and my hand to stretch it. The only squeege we had has hard rubber and scratched the film, so stuck with the hand lol got most of it done myself but an extra pair of hands was deff helpful so I didn't have to keep picking up and putting the heat gun down. Films soft enough a hair dryer could have worked too.

They turned out to be a lot more cherry than black. *just realized I bought "dark smoke" not "dark black" lol. Theres some imperfections up close so I'll have my friend redo them eventually. That's the beauty of such inexpensive tint

Thanks for the link. I'm a little bummed to see they're VIPMOTOZ, I got some bunk headlights and taillights from them (OEM style.)

So yours fit well, look good, and no hazy smoky film inside the plastic?

Looks like the reverse light takes the stock bulb socket, yeah?

I do kinda like that they're flush with the bed like older lights, instead of having that googly-eye look that the OEM lights do. What's funny is I didn't like the newer OEM lights when they came out, but they've grown on me. Dilemma...

    Richard

Vipmotoz have been nothing but good to me. Answered emails very quickly, and refunded me $20 for sending them these pics of the lights installed. There is another seller, "dt_moto" who sells these same lights, but for about $12 more I think and doesn't include free return shipping if needed as VIP did

My lights look all perfect, no haze or anything.

Reverse light is the same socket as oem, and still fit my large led bulb. It even seems much brighter. Maybe cause the reverse section of larger than oem.

The 04-07 oem lights are my favorite oem tails, but after three years with them I wanted an update. So happy with the decision
